Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Handsome gentleman Bruno has run into some bad luck again!  He initially became a Cause kid when his owner had to move and could not take their dogs. Luckily he found a loving home and lived a good life for several years. Tragedy struck this poor guy again when his loving human passed away and he came back to Cause for SB Paws. He settled into his new foster home and is now ready to try his luck again. Could you be his forever family? Chocolate German Shorthair Bruno is 11 yrs old and full of boundless energy. He definitely needs a home familiar with the breed or similar breeds. The GSP is known to be '...very athletic, have boundless energy and need to burn it while spending time outdoors. All activities are good: running, walking, swimming, toys retrieving etc. Never forget that even if you are not a hunter, this breed is designed for hunting, and it’s really perfect at it. At the same time they are wonderful family dogs and very protective of a family. They perfectly get on with other animals, get along with people. Great for children.'So an active family is an absolute must, as well as a big yard to run, and other energetic, large breed dogs with which to romp and run and play.See his page here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/animals/browse  Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251   Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com with questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 7, 2024, 4:12 pm

Story
Loki is a wonderful dog who was originally adopted by my 80 year old parents. He is only 4 years old and was too energetic for this elderly couple. We fostered him to help with training and reducing his separation anxiety. He is well trained, responds to a variety of commands in English and German, and walks great on a leash. He is loving and cuddles with us on the couch. He loves to fetch a ball and can run faster than any dog we have seen. He has excellent recall with the ball. It is time for him to find his forever home!

Story
Nellie is 7 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is a very quiet, undemanding girl who just likes to lounge around and hang out with you. She follows you like a shadow and loves being in your company. She's shy around strangers. especially men, but is quick to become friends with anyone if they're holding a treat. She is the kind of dog that would prefer a one-person home. Someone who is looking for a low maintenence companion that loves attention, walks, and can do just fine when you need to go about your day. She needs a home with NO KIDS. She's good with other older and mature dogs but would be happiest as the only dog. With all that said, she is very sweet and loving. She'll put her head in your lap and look at you with the most adoring eyes. She is 100% house trained, she rides well in the car, and likes walks. She's a hidden gem for sure!

Story
Meet Karl Karl is such a fun boy who is ready to be the light of your life! He's a happy go lucky, 1 year old pup who is simply perfect. He's very friendly and outgoing, he loves everybody who crosses his path and will greet you with a wagging tail and loads of kisses! He's great with children. He's great with all other dogs. He has crossed paths with several cats before and completely ignored all so he may do well in a home with cats also! He loves to play and would thrive best in a home with someone who's eager to have a new walking/hiking partner or a friend for an existing dog in the home! He loves car rides and adventures with his people. He's very affectionate and well socialized. He loves going for walks but is still learning proper leash manners and not pulling. With that said, he is very smart and eager to please. Training him should be a breeze! He's house trained and has excellent house manners. He's the perfect pup waiting to find his forever home with you! Personality traits Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Playful, Smart, Athletic, Loves Kisses, Curious
