Story
Nellie is 7 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is a very quiet, undemanding girl who just likes to lounge around and hang out with you. She follows you like a shadow and loves being in your company. She's shy around strangers. especially men, but is quick to become friends with anyone if they're holding a treat. She is the kind of dog that would prefer a one-person home. Someone who is looking for a low maintenence companion that loves attention, walks, and can do just fine when you need to go about your day. She needs a home with NO KIDS. She's good with other older and mature dogs but would be happiest as the only dog. With all that said, she is very sweet and loving. She'll put her head in your lap and look at you with the most adoring eyes. She is 100% house trained, she rides well in the car, and likes walks. She's a hidden gem for sure!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Handsome gentleman Bruno has run into some bad luck again!  He initially became a Cause kid when his owner had to move and could not take their dogs. Luckily he found a loving home and lived a good life for several years. Tragedy struck this poor guy again when his loving human passed away and he came back to Cause for SB Paws. He settled into his new foster home and is now ready to try his luck again. Could you be his forever family? Chocolate German Shorthair Bruno is 11 yrs old and full of boundless energy. He definitely needs a home familiar with the breed or similar breeds. The GSP is known to be '...very athletic, have boundless energy and need to burn it while spending time outdoors. All activities are good: running, walking, swimming, toys retrieving etc. Never forget that even if you are not a hunter, this breed is designed for hunting, and it’s really perfect at it. At the same time they are wonderful family dogs and very protective of a family. They perfectly get on with other animals, get along with people. Great for children.'So an active family is an absolute must, as well as a big yard to run, and other energetic, large breed dogs with which to romp and run and play.See his page here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/animals/browse  Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251   Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com with questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Emma’s the name and happiness is my game! I had a pretty rough start to life with my first family abandoning me at the shelter and losing all of my puppies to illness but since being rescued I’ve learned how to dog and all about what love is. I'm a one-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix and everyone tells me how sweet and gentle. When I’m not cuddling and snuggling, all I wanna do is run and play! I’ve met some pretty awesome hoomans and can’t wait to meet more and every dog I see is best furiend pawtential! My pawfect home would have an active family that loves fun adventures AND cuddle time and another playful dog or two to romp around with. I haven’t been around young kids (under 5yo) yet but as long as they’re gentle and respectful, I’m sure I’d love them. If you think you might be my furever family, hurry up and get an application in while you still can!
