Story
PJ is a handsome 3 month old, male, hound mix. He has a gorgeous black coat with white highlights. He was found abandoned in rural Texas with his littermates. He enjoys people of all ages and playing with other dogs. He is working hard on potty training in Texas, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
Rylie is just about to turn 2, and she is a loyal and loving companion with that GSP energy that comes with. She is starting to get calm in the house as I work from home she will lay on the couch until we are ready to move. She does fine in a crate as well if I am gone for a while. She has grown up with a toddler playing with, two cats who she respects, and an Aussie. She does great by herself or with other dogs. Rylie works great with commands (sit, here, heal, wait) and has had about 2 months worth of training for hunting, however, her bird drive for a GSP is not the highest, and she needs a lot more time and confidence I think before she could hunt, if you are looking for a hunting dog she needs quite a bit more work. She is defiantly more on the shy side when introduced to new situations, but warms up quick As a family dog and friend she is the best, ready to cuddle, or go out for a run. As she is a GSP she will need to go to a more active family. She is AKC registered as well.
