Sweet Fonzie is a 10-year-old male Pointer/Hound mix and weighs about 80 pounds. He is potty-trained, does great in his kennel, sleeps through the night and can generally be trusted on his own in the house (even though he hasn’t been left alone for too, too long yet in his foster home). Fonzie’s favorite things are cuddling, snacks, sniffing and being the best boy!! He gets along with dogs and cats – and loves to play chase, and he loves people of all shapes and sizes. In addition to being top-notch cuddlers, Fonzie’s new family will need to have a fenced yard, OR have a strong person to take him on walks because he’s quite strong and wants to pull towards awesome sniffies and other playful pups. He will need continued work on this so he can be a more polite walking buddy. Fonz is very food-motivated which will help with his continued training. He already knows several commands, including sit, paw, here, and down – and has learned “in” to go to his kennel when its meal time. Fonzie is proving to be a super smart pup and will thrive with a family who will continue to keep his mind occupied and teach him new things – can cuddle with him a lot. Hello, my name is Dara. I'm excited to start my journey to find my forever home. After being left in the woods in Tennessee while pregnant, I was fortunate to be found by a wonderful shelter. On the same day, I delivered my puppies, but I quickly realized that being a young mom wasn't my strength. Thankfully, I'll be spayed next week. As a smaller, mixed-breed dog, I'm incredibly athletic and agile. I thrive on activity and would love to engage in obstacle courses , fetch I return the ball .I also adore human companionship and would make a wonderful partner for someone who can devote time and love to me. I've been doing great in my foster home, learning good manners and i am house trained. However, due to my impressive jumping ability, I require a home with a securely fenced backyard or an owner who's willing to work with me on training. Am I your forever dog? I recently had puppies some didn’t make it and I came from Tennesee as I was discarded in the woods when I was pregnant a rescue in Tennessee found me and I delivered on August 13. I made my way to Wisconsin and I’m looking for my forever home. I tend to be a smaller breed. I love dogs. I love people Kids I wanna be next to you. I lay on the couch with you. I also have a little bit of energy and I love the dog park. Will you throw me a ball? I’ll retrieve it and bring it back to you.
