Quarantine Up Sept. 19th, 2026 Meet our tenderhearted Yasmine. Yasmine is a beautiful Schnauzer mix with a docked tail. She is between two and three years old and weighs just under 18 pounds. She came to us from the Brownsville, Texas area, and we quickly learned that this sweet little girl has a very gentle, sensitive soul. Yasmine can be slow to warm up to other dogs, but it really seems to come from fear. Dogs that rush up or get in her face can frighten her, so she does much better with gentle dogs who give her a little space when they first meet. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she relaxes and enjoys playing. With people, Yasmine is extremely submissive and a little shy. She needs someone with a kind voice, a gentle touch, and the patience to let her settle in at her own pace. Yasmine recently had to be shaved down due to matting, so don’t let her current haircut fool you…her beautiful fur will definitely grow back! We think a quieter home would be wonderful for Yasmine…one where she can feel safe, build her confidence, and learn that she is very much loved. She really is a sweet little dog who just needs someone willing to give her the time she needs to blossom. If you are looking for a dog whop truly needs you, your love and kindness.... it's her. She wants to love so badly, she just needs someone to help her. Quarantine Up Sept. 20, 2026 Meet Theo! Theo is a four- to five-year-old Schnauzer mix weighing about 18 pounds. He has a heart of gold, despite coming from a neglectful background. He was found roaming in deep South Texas, unneutered and heartworm-positive. Theo has now been treated for heartworms and is doing great. Personality-wise, he’s like a Walmart greeter…he loves everyone he meets, dogs and people alike! He has absolutely no temperament concerns and is simply a wonderful little dog. Chloe came to Tracy’s Paws Rescue from a neglectful situation in Deep South Texas. She gets along wonderfully with everyone in her group and loves being held by her caretakers.
