Her experience with children is unknown since there are no kids in her current foster home, but she loves all people! Good with cats? Unknown - there are no cats in her foster home. Mika's rescue story: Mika's journey began in the heart of Mexico, where she found herself in a park, alone and pregnant, bearing the scars of a cruel past. Despite the unimaginable pain she endured, Mika's spirit remained unbroken. Mika embodies the purest essence of gentleness and kindness. She carries with her a quiet strength, a testament to her resilience, and her heart overflows with boundless love and playfulness. Yes Rescue story: Koda was abandoned in Guadalajara, but Koda was rescued so he could have a second chance on life. About: Koda is a friendly dog, and does well with all ages of people and dogs. Koda has great energy, but not excessive, and would be a good walking companion. He is a quick learner, and is potty trained and leash trained. At 5 years old, he is beyond the somewhat challenging puppy years, so would make a great dog for someone looking for a dog already trained. At the moment he has to share his space with other dogs at the boarding facility he is currently staying at with other rescue dogs. He doesn’t have his own space, but he is an independent dog that allows himself to be apart from the pack Where does the dog sleep? Temperament/Personality:  Rescued in a fragile and helpless state, he bears witness to the difficult journey he has overcome. With endless love and patience, he has regained his strength and vigor, becoming a living example of resilience and hope.   This adorable husky, now full of life, adores the company of people, children, and other dogs. He enjoys long walks and lively play sessions, displaying a loving, playful, and curious spirit that brightens his surroundings. His loyal and affectionate nature makes him yearn for a warm and loving home, where he can receive the love and care he deserves. Dieter hopes to find a place where his bravery and resilience are honored, spreading the important message of adopting and giving a second chance to abandoned huskies and other dogs.   What does the dog's ideal home look like? Dieter would adapt with adults or a family with kids since he is an easy going dog. Dieter is smart, and loves outdoor activities so he would be ideal for an active family and he would be the best hiking companion. What is the dog's rescue story? Dieter, a brave husky, has left behind his difficult past and clings to a future full of hope. He was wandering the streets, searching through the trash for food, until one day everything changed. Following his guardian angel, hungry and tired, he lay down outside. His guardian angel provided him with food and water, and from that day on, his life changed forever.   Dieter is waiting in Mexico until a family is commited to fostering him or taking him on a trial.
