Story
Artemis is a stunning young husky/German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead of her. This beautiful girl has already captured us with her sweet nature and soulful eyes — and she’s more than ready to find the loving home she deserves. She is housebroken and food motivated. She wants to be close to humans and ADORES other dogs. She is the ultimate pack follower and truly loves being part of the family. She is shy at first but still has a strong desire to be close to the humans. She will do best in a home with another playful dog (or more than 1!) and will need a calm and patient leader who will help her understand what is expected of her. She is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night.

Frankie is a truly special boy who is ready for the fresh start he deserves. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly loyal, sweet, and deeply devoted to his people — the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and stays close to those he trusts. Frankie’s favorites include: • Playing fetch, running, and enjoying daily walks • Spending time with kids • Soaking up outdoor adventures, then relaxing indoors for cozy downtime What Frankie needs to thrive: • A large, securely fenced yard • A home without cats or chickens • Slow, thoughtful introductions to new people Frankie is a survivor. He was found as a stray in Eastern WA with an injured eye, we think from being hit. He ended up losing his eye but it hasn’t dimmed his spirit or his ability to love. He just needs a patient, understanding family who will let him move at his own pace and show him that the world can be kind. In return, Frankie will give unwavering loyalty, affection, and a heart full of gratitude. If you believe in second chances and are ready to help a deserving dog continue his healing journey, Frankie may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Story
Winston would prefer a quieter home with no other dogs/cats/young children. The unpredictability of the noise and stimulation from kids gives him anxiety. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and people who are home often or work from home. Winston is fully house trained and knows most basic commands. He has had prior experience in training (1:1 sessions and group classes) and really thrives in an environment where he can learn and be rewarded. He will do really anything for a treat and positive praise! He walks decently on a leash, but needs some refreshers on a "heel" command where he walks next to you instead of pulling ahead. Once he tires out, he walks nice and slow. Winston is used to being home with his people so he gets slightly anxious when he knows you are leaving. He will quickly settle and wait patiently by the front door/window/couch for you to come home. Winston's typical day looks like a late morning walk, nap time, an afternoon walk, and a nap.
