Story
Eren is a very sweet very good boy. He’s been trained from birth and can go, stay, sit, lie down, wait and knows his name to come when called. He is potty trained and will signal when he needs to step outside to use the bathroom. Eren is not a picky eater and was raised to not resource guard, so there is no behavioral issues with other animals or humans. He is a very shy slightly nervous dog at first but will quickly warm up and become excited. We love Eren very much, but what he needs is a hyperactive family or other dogs to surround himself with. Eren has a couple issues and this is due to his breed being half husky. He is a digger and will make holes in your yard. He is trained to come and go etc as mentioned, but he gets extremely excited and distracted easily. Eren may take off if let loose and needs to be under supervision when outdoors. At parks we unleash him, but we keep him close at all times.

Story
Meet Xarpo! Meet Xarpo, a young female Husky mix named after the Greek goddess of fall—and just like her namesake, she’s absolutely stunning. Everyone who meets her can’t help but comment on her striking beauty, but it’s her fun-loving spirit that truly wins hearts. Xarpo may be initially shy and nervous with both people and dogs, but she warms up quickly, revealing her playful, energetic, and affectionate personality. She is a social butterfly at heart and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. She would thrive with a dog companion her size or larger, as she can be quite rambunctious and energetic—perfect for dogs who enjoy active play and puppy energy. Xarpo is learning her manners and basic commands, including polite play, not jumping, and proper interactions with both people and dogs. She does well in her crate overnight, though during the day she much prefers to be out and about, as any active Husky mix would. She’s in the process of house training—she’ll go outside when asked but occasionally forgets when she’s busy playing. She has seen cats but hasn’t been trained to live with them, as she’s far more interested in her canine friends. Not suited for apartment living, Xarpo can be vocal and needs space and activity to thrive. With her adventurous spirit, she’d make a fantastic running or hiking partner. Xarpo is ready to find her forever family—one that appreciates her beauty, nurtures her confidence, and gives her the active, loving life she’s meant to live. Could she be your perfect fall goddess?  Xarpo is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD 🌟 Now 10 months old, Kane came to us from a home with uncertainty, not being able to rely on the humans providing his care simply put, the situation was too much for his tender young soul. 💔 Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾 🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.” That’s how special he is. 💛 Kane is a dream golden: ✨ Sweet, gentle, soft. ✨ Silly, playful, gloriously squishy ✨ Respectful with dogs, livestock and cats, and good with older kids - teens and up. He is finally breaking free of his fear of contact and opening up to human love, but it has been a slow process - truly, he has preferred the company of other dogs, but he's getting there. Kane needs time to trust humans, and will need a family who can appreciate he the rule of 333 - he will need the time to decompress and relax into a new family situation. Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place: ✔️ Another confident canine companion to show him the ropes ✔️ Respectful children (ages 13+) ✔️ A very secure fenced yard (6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins He’s not built for chaos, but for love — steady, soft, patient love. The real kind. The forever kind. 💛 🐾 Please only apply if your home fits the requirements described above, we are unwavering on these guidelines. We place our dogs where they will truly feel safe, flourish and be loved. Our commitment is to the dogs in our care and we respectfully will decline any home that doesn’t meet Kane’s needs.🧡 Kane is current on vaccinations appropriate for his age, Microchipped and will be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 12 months of age.
