Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $850    Ranger is a 4 year old Goldendoodle who is looking for his adoring forever family! Ranger was surrendered to our rescue because his former home was a bit too chaotic for our shy dude. We agreed to help find him a perfect forever home and he’s been with one of our incredible foster homes ever since. Ranger weighs around 35 pounds and will require regular grooming to ensure he stays looking fluffy and fabulous! Ranger is an option for homes with allergies. Come and pick up your handsome cowboy, Ranger, today!      Ranger is a handsome, fluffy gentleman who is looking to find the perfect family ready to help show him the best things in life. Ranger is your typical Covid doodle puppy. Sadly, his former home didn’t do any socialization with him at that pivotal time in his development, so he is working on gaining his confidence with us now. He is the kind of dog who will need time to settle in and feel comfortable in his quieter forever home and he won’t be a dog who is ever willing to be part of a chaotic pack. As he has gotten more comfortable with his foster humans, he has started seeking out cuddles and affection, which has been extremely heartwarming. He is a pretty mellow guy who enjoys his walks but is just as happy to play in the yard with a toy. While Ranger is fairly independent and happy to keep himself occupied, he also shows off a wagging tail and funny little grunts when his people come home from an outing. Ranger will be the perfect buddy for a home who is willing to go at his pace and comfort level as he settles in. While he will never be a “typical” overly friendly doodle, he will be your loyal companion for all the days ahead.  Ranger wakes up around 7 AM and eats breakfast in his crate while his foster mom gets ready for the day. Since he is working on some resource guarding, he is fed apart from the other dog in the home. He goes out for a morning walk and then settles in for a nap as foster mom starts her workday. He keeps himself busy with his toys and stimulation games until his second walk of the day. He gets dinner in his crate at 6 PM and spends the rest of the evening quietly being near his humans until he heads to his crate for the night.  Ranger is a bit selective of the dogs he chooses to befriend. He co-exists with the resident doodle in his foster home but he would prefer to be a solo dog. He gets along with the resident cat. Ranger is house trained and crate trained. Ranger’s ideal new person is someone experienced with shyer dogs who will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel acclimated. We can’t wait for Ranger to settle down on a range of his very own.     Ranger is only an option for homes who have extensive dog owning experience. Ranger will need an adults-only household, so no kids. Homes who do not meet these criteria will not be considered. January 14, 2025, 6:41 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $1000   Cheers is a 1 year old Goldendoodle ready to ring in the New Year with her lucky forever people! Cheers was rescued from the shelter as the ball dropped to close out 2024. She was in desperate need of a good groom and some love which we provided in spades! Now, she’s ready to strut into your heart and get started on all the adventures you have planned. Cheers weighs 53 pounds. She has a non-shedding coat that will require regular brushing and grooming. Cheers can’t wait to meet you and get the pawty started!      Cheers is a playful and loyal pup hoping to find her new best friend! Once our girl made herself comfortable, she showed her foster how loving and affectionate she is! She’s a faithful little shadow who loves making herself known as you move about the house and it’s hard to resist a shadow as cute as her! Cheers loves her toys and is very much still in the puppy stage, so watch out for loose socks and baseball hats. As she has gotten acclimated, more of her amazing personality has come out and we have been delighted to discover her ever-growing list of favorite things. Cheers would love to find a family where her humans work from home or are home for most of the day so she can hang out! She also can’t wait to take on some adventures around the Bay Area and start checking off some bucket list items. Her foster mom calls her a “little princess” because she discovered the joy of soft dog beds and hasn’t looked back since. She also loves to cuddle so if you’re looking for a bedtime snuggle buddy, Cheers is your gal! It’s hard not to shout “hip hip hooray” when you have Cheers in your life!  Cheers wakes up around 6:30 ready for a day of playtime and snacks. She has breakfast and then goes out into the yard for sniffing and potty. After her morning nap, Cheers heads out on her morning walk followed by lots of playtime in the yard with her canine foster brother. They get along like only two playful doodles can and make the entire household laugh with their silly antics. Cheers gets a snack around 1 PM and then takes another nap. In the afternoon, she goes out on another walk followed by some more playtime in the backyard. Dinner is served at 7 PM followed by lots of snuggles until she heads to bed.  Cheers lives with a similarly sized doodle in her foster home and they are the best of friends. She gets along with humans of all ages but is a little shy when first meeting new people. She walks well on a leash and is fully house trained. She does well when she is brushed and her forever home should be ready to continue her coat upkeep. Cheers would benefit from some additional training and socialization as she continues growing up but she’s so eager to please it should be a blast. Keep the party going with Cheers!      Cheers is only an option for homes who have previously owned a dog of their own. Kids should be over the age of 7. January 15, 2025, 3:24 pm

Story
Meet Erduo, a 3-and-a-half-year-old purebred golden retriever boy with an incredibly sweet temperament. He is well-mannered, never barks, bites, or shows any signs of aggression. Erduo is fully potty trained and currently spends most of his day in our backyard, where he takes care of his needs. As a golden retriever, he is naturally energetic and thrives on interaction, especially with dogs of his size. While he is affectionate and loves meeting new people, he tends to get overly excited around unfamiliar faces and enjoys jumping up to hug them. While most people find this endearing, it’s something to be mindful of, especially in public settings, as not everyone is comfortable with such enthusiasm (we had one unfortunate experience where someone felt frightened). Erduo would be an ideal companion for someone who can match his energy and provide him with the love and attention he deserves. We are seeking a experienced home where he will continue to thrive and be cherished.

Story
Honey is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She is on the smaller side of an average golden retriever, weighing about 35 pounds. She LOVES food and is very food motivated. She is very calm, loves to follow you around and she enjoys taking walks outside. She does well with other dogs. She was rescued from a meat truck in China, her vocal chords may have been removed sadly. She recently had a surgery to remove a lump on her front left leg and it came back as low grade sarcoma. She's not fully recovered yet, but doing well. She's ready to find her forever home! Please reach out if interested.

Story
The short story is that our now grown children who grew up with a beautiful golden retriever (Hugo) who since passed away of old age 3 years ago thought it would be a brilliant idea to surprise their mom with this puppy two years ago. Lucy is beautiful and very sweet, but has half Grand Pyrenees mixed in with her Golden Retriever bloodline which apparently means that it is in her DNA to to want to protect a flock of something. This means barking at any perceived threats, especially coyotes, while she is “on duty." She loves to go on a routine patrol around the property and curiously, when she is off property, she never barks. It's like she knows she's not responsible for security when she is off property and is rather on vacation from her “job." I believe Lucy's true fantasy life would be to protect a flock of sheep from the coyotes just like Ralph the Sheepdog. She gets along well with our son’s dog and would make a great partner dog for someone who already has a working ranch dog.
