Hello, I'm Sunny, because of my beaming personality and golden, gorgeous coat! I came in along with my four puppies who were old enough to be on their own already and have all gone to good homes. Now it's my turn! I am a sweet and loving girl and just love affection. My previous home said I did great with children and mostly enjoyed just lazing about with my favorite people- I just like to close my eyes and soak up any love! Hopefully I'll meet you soon

Are you loooking for a sweet ride or die? Look no further. Butch is a delightful friend and SO SMART!  Rescued from a tethered hell. Butch languished for months on a cable tether. He was not fed well and he was taunted... treated like a vicious beast. He was frustated and anxious. Afraid and alone. Within moments of meeting him, we saw something different. We spent time sitting on the stoop, tossing him bits of our lunch. Eventually he settled enough to start catching the bits we tossed him. We then asked him to sit. And HE DID.  How were we to believe this was a bad dog? He is a good dog that has been treated badly. We have had him for a couple weeks now and he is a new man. He is a big sweet, intelligent goof ball. He has started playing and loves to go for truck rides. He uses his nose to move your hand if he needs something. He is just amazing. He is not a purebred Golden retriever but he is SO GOLDEN! He is not recommended around small children, small animals or other dogs. He is intitailly distrusting of strangers but warms up to kindness quickly.  He weighed 75 pounds when rescued and was VERY thin! He will likelt be a 100 pound dog when he is fully filled out! We have videos on our facebook that share the progression of his rescue. Sophie is a very loveable dog. She is spoiled and loves running around our backyard. Sophie is very affectionate and gets a long great with her other brothers and sisters! We have 6 dogs and 4 cats that I love very much! Because of health reasons I don't have what it takes to continue to give them the love and time that they need and deserve! Sophie has never been around little children and it is not recommended. My prayers are that she get a really nice loving home with someone that has a lot of time and patience for her.
