Meet Tanner, an adorable, active, loving, happy, affectionate and fun adult Golden Retriever who may have some Beagle in him too which can account for his smaller size, sweet little face and bouncy personality. He is looking for a family who has a young dog with lots of playful energy to be his new best friend and a family who has loads of love to spare for this precious little guy. He's a "happy go lucky" little guy who was once affectionately called "Air Bud" after the famous basketball playing Golden Retriever!!! Tanner is a good boy in the house and yard and loves, loves, loves playing with his doggie companions in the neighborhood. Being housetrained and crate trained, he is ideal for an active family looking for a new best buddy. He rides well in the car, loves playing and running in the backyard and really loves snuggling with people too. He enjoys meeting children on his daily walks but is jumpy when first meeting them, so he is a good choice for older children such as teenagers. With a face like Tanner's, he's a real |"attention grabber" on his daily walks around the neighborhood. Tanner is in perfect health, neutered, totally vaccinated, heartworm negative, wormed and microchipped. He still does need some leash training so our trainer will be working with him and his new family for a short while. He was given to me. I thought he would be good with my dog, my dog is old and relaxed and Pepper is a high energy puppy. New puppy born on September 26, 2025. I wanted my dog to have a friend but Pepper is to energetic for my small breed adult dog. Pepper will get very big, and too much for me to handle as he gets older. He is crate trained with treats. He sleeps in crate at night. I’m teaching him to sit. He is doesn’t like a leash much. He would love a big backyard. He is not potty trained yet. He knows his name. I think he would be great with a family with children, he loves to play. PetSmart says he has to be 4 months before any shots. He loves chew toys, I believe he is teething. He is soft and cuddly.
