Story
Bentley is an amazing dog, full of life and very loving. He was a great brother to another golden retriever Mia and French Bulldog Luna. Its breaks our heart to put him up for addoption but with a baby on the way we would not have the time to take care of 3 dogs. Bentley had been around with various ages of children and adults and his always been a gentle dog to all. He love to cuddle and always very sweet. We will miss hom dearly.

He is 4 years old.  Our adoption center & Spay Clinic is open by appointment with approved application. We are located at 571 NE 44th Street, the NW corner of Prospect (44th) and 6th in Oakland Park, FL. Our application is available online: www.animal-aid.com where you can also view all of our adoptable dogs and cats. The donation we are requesting will help the next dog or cat in need and includes our medical program; 5-way vaccines, rabies vaccine, de-worming, blood test for heartworm and tick diseases, spay or neuter and microchip ID. April 19, 2026, 7:34 am

Story
Teddy is a super sweet dog and we got him as a last minute rehome from a family with a physically disabled child in a small apartment. He is roughly 3-4 years old but still acts like a puppy. He is an absolutely gorgeous dog with a great attitude, an incredible amount of positive energy, and is nothing but wanting to please. We are super sad to have to reach out like this but we have a new baby in the house and a 6 year old, and cannot keep up with all of the energy that Teddy requires, and it would be a shame not to offer him up to a family that could provide the attention he deserves. He is house trained, fixed, has all his shots, is in great shape, and very trainable. Again, our challenge is just his energy-level and our ability to provide the excercise and attention that he deserves. I am very confident that Teddy will be a super sweet addition to the right home.

Meet Fuchsia AKA Angie! Fuchsia, affectionately known as Angie, is a 4-year-old, fully grown retriever mix with a gentle and loving nature. She was originally born here in 2021 and adopted into a home, but sadly returned to our care in September when her family had to move and were unable to take her along. She came back with her adopted brother, Milo, through no fault of her own. Since returning, Angie has only shared a room with Milo, but she has shown openness to potentially making additional doggy friends with proper introductions. She has lived comfortably with two children and is potty trained, making her a wonderful option for a family environment. Angie does not require prior dog experience and would be a great match for first-time adopters. True to her retriever roots, she enjoys affection and is happiest when she’s cuddled up with her people.
