Scroll no further! I want to introduce myself! My name is Jacques! A little about me... Well, the first thing people always notice about me is I am super sweet and very quiet.. I am a super chill pup. I like walks alright, like most dogs, but otherwise you'll find me hanging out in my bed. I love to be comfy! As far as people go... I'm a pretty independent pup. I like people, but am pretty good at entertaining myself too. I get along with other dogs just fine, but I could take 'em or leave 'em. I'll be happy with other dogs or as an only pup!. My favorite things on this earth are: playtime with my human friends, head scratches, and FOOD. Yep, I'm easy to please! Some more important details: I was part of a large hoarding situation where I had 29 other siblings. My mom tried to care for all of us but was unable to do a good job. I am much better now and am ready for the perfect loving family. I'm super cat friendly! I'd love to have cats in my forever home but if not, no worries. I am crate trained and working on my house training and doing really well. An ideal day for me would start out with going for a walk around the neighborhood.... then we would lazy nap in the sun and we could cap off the day with an evening walk around our neighborhood.. What will make me happiest in my forever home will be to feel safe and loved... finally! I guess you can say I'm a sweet, adorable dog just looking a loving forever family.. I weigh about 23 lbs and am an estimated 7 or 8 years old. If you want to meet me, please do an application, that's always the first step to adopting! Rhubarb "Rhu is a wonderful 6-year golden lab mix (37 lbs). She was rescued from hoarding situation and has adopted to her foster home perfectly! She taught herself how to use a doggie door and always goes potty outside- never has accidents in the house... Which is amazing since she was zip tied in a crate. She sleeps on her dog bed next to her foster Mom's bed. She is as sweet as can be, and so gentle with little children. She's happy & silly. She's learning to play with toys and gets along with every single dog she meets. She loves to go on walks, which she really needs because she's a little chunky. She is a 37lb beauty, with her blonde soft hair, which is growing back since they all had to be shaved due to the matting and poor condition they fur was in. She's spayed, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and had a dental cleaning... so she's ready to go to her new home. Well, this breed is loyal, intelligent, and alert. Eager to please, Plott Hounds are good with older children and other animals if socialized early. Plott Hounds are descended not from English Foxhounds but from German "Hanover hounds. way back in 1750 so we are a very established and noble breed. The retriever breeds are smart, eager to learn, athletic, and sweet-tempered. These breeds were developed for their ability to work closely with humans. We are amazing at taking on anything you ask - including just being a fantastic companion. I can be ALL of that if you adopt me. Please remember I will be needing training and patience in order to become the best dog for you I can be. Plott Hounds need socialization and obedience training because they can be dominant pack dogs. Actually, all dogs need that don't they?
