Meet Darcy West! A beautiful Golden retriever mix rescued from a backyard breeder. She came into the rescue very thin and very afraid. Unknowing to anyone she was pregnant and gave birth in her foster home. Sadly, only one of her babies made it. The baby is now weaned and in her forever home and it is time for Darcy to find her forever family. Darcy was not treated as a pet, so she is behind on her training. Darcy is crate trained, walks well on the leash and loves car rides! She is nervous and shy when meeting new people, trusts women much more than men, but once you earn her trust she is the perfect lap lounger. She would do best in a home with another dog around as she is a follower. Darcy is a diamond in the rough. With patience and love, she’ll shine brighter then ever. She deserves all the love in the world l’m rooting for her to find the perfect forever home.Adoption fee for this dog includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. My furry baby is 2 years old. She is extremely sweet. She loves kids and other dogs. She loves to play and spend time indoors. She does not like to be out in the back yard for too long. She sleeps inside the house. She loves playing with me and my daughter. She loves playing with other dogs little and small. She is sweet and sometimes let the other dogs bite her and she will just lay there face up-too sweet. She does not pee or poop inside the house. She needs someone that can dedicate time for her. Oh and she loves food! This includes real food. I make clean chicken for her, and take out all the bones and skin.
