Story

Gideon is a loving little booger that had a not so great start to life, but has blossomed into a goofy fun boy that loves attention and people. He loves all toys! He is a toy and food driven dog through and through! He loves other dogs and hasn’t shown any issues with meeting new friends at all. He can still be a little shy when meeting new people, but will only try to hide or walk away until he feels comfortable. He took about 2 weeks to trust his fosters and no longer hide all the time. He now follows them around, approaches for love, and will snuggle on the couch as much as possible. He loves to nap with his head resting on his foster dad’s shoulder or lap. Once he trusts you, and he will with patience, you will always have a loyal companion in him. He still gets nervous in the car, he was dumped in the woods when he was 6 months old, but he has come a long way in that regard as well. He no longer whines or shakes the entire time. He’s been to a few dog friendly stores and the only problem we had was with the big scary automatic doors. He wasn’t a fan, but with encouragement, he was able to get through it. He knows how to sit and take things from your hand nicely, and we’re working on stay. We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Vader was 1 of 7 puppies dumped down a dirt road. These sweet babies have been through it, that's for sure! Vader is a young quirky little dude who needs time to adjust and get used to his person. He is absolutely amazing with any dogs he meets! He is what you might call a dog's dog! The 3·3·3 rule applies to Vader as his past has left him slightly unsure of anything or anyone new. Initially feral when we took him in as a foster, he still has a few of those tendencies, mostly in terms of having some fear before you gain his trust. Once that happens, he is the sweetest softest little guy around. He would especially shine in a home with another dog to help him come out of his shell. Story

Chatterbox was brought in after being found under a truck in a puddle with his 3 siblings as 1-2 day old puppies. He was the smallest, coldest, and loudest (he's no longer a loud boy) of the group. He’s a playful puppy that loves to cuddle, play, and he wants to be where the humans and big dogs are! He loves people, dogs, cats, and should do well with kids of all ages (always supervise). He will follow you around and in the evenings he wants to curl up close to his person to be cuddled so he can sleep peacefully. Chatterbox was the most talkative of his siblings when they were found as newborns, but now he is a quiet and chill boy. He loves to run around the yard exploring and shows no fear around the big dogs or in the big backyard, plus he loves toys and treats! He is about 95% house trained with having very few accidents in the house. He uses a doggy door with ease to go potty throughout the day and loves having that freedom. Chatterbox (Chatter or ChatChat) is working on sit, paw, and taking things nicely from your hand. His fosters absolutely adore him and want him to find an amazing home where he will continue to be spoiled rotten. Jonah is a small young boy who is starting to come out of his shell and show his cute little personality! Niko has been through obedience training, neutered, and is a wonderful boy all around! He was brought back into the rescue at no fault of his own and he’s a great boy that loves to snuggle, play, go on walks, and just be around his people. He would do best with a home with a yard with a fence so he is free to explore when he's outside to potty and play/ If you would like I give this boy a great FOREVER home, please fill out our application for him. This group of pups came from a medium size mixed breed mom, and one of the dads at least we know was a golden retriever. I am sure there are multiple dads but we know a golden was seen at the scene. These are the sweetest and most loving little babies. The owner of the mom was going to "get rid of them" so a good Samaritan took them because they knew he said that about the last litter and they just disappeared. He didn't want that to happen to the rest. If you are looking for a good and sweet family dog who will not hit any of the breed restrictions here is your litter. Story

Bubba is the last of his litter and has been lonely since his siblings have left. He is a very sweet boy that always wants to sit for and with you. He hasn't had too much training, but he will obey when told to stay and sit though he gets very excited when a delivery comes to the door at his foster home. Bubba has shown a strong dislike for birds being in the yard and while he doesn't have a problem with cats, he does enjoy annoying them so he should be watched around them. He has shown a love of children and wants nothing more than to have them play with him. He is a bigger dog so he doesn't quite know his size because he still has the puppy awkwardness. His fosters say that he will make a family a great pet and will be very loyal to them,; he just needs to find that family.
