Story
Meet Winger, your future furry friend and champion napper, often found snoozing in cozy spots. He loves chewing on Benni bones and can destroy fluffy toys in seconds! Winger enjoys exploring outside and soaking up the sun. He eagerly comes when called and showers you with affection. Friendly with new people, he loves to sniff everything, especially food. While he usually ignores most cats, he may get annoyed with younger ones wanting to play. Winger is ready to bring joy and companionship to your home! Winger is part of our Senior Soulmate Program. If he is adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor his adoption fee. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 31, 2026, 12:50 pm

Story
Layla is a 5 1/2 years old and an amazing dog, we bought her when my oldest son was born. She has full AKC papers, and has been a wonderful dog. Between my work schedule and my wife’s school schedule, she isn’t receiving the love and attention she deserves. She is great with kids and all animals, she is extremely lovable and thinks she’s a lap dog. She loves walks and treats, playing fetch and chasing the kids around. It really makes me sad to have to put her up for adoption but she deserves a place she can run and explore and have fun, not be cooped up in the house 12 hours + everyday. I would love to seen her go to a home with some land and a loving family, little kids are her favorite.

Story
Archie is a 5 year old Golden Retriever. Archie is up to date on all his shots, neutered, and has no health issues. Archie is truly such a sweet dog. He's loyal, gentle and quirky. He's great with other dogs & kids - perfect family pet. He absolutely adores being near his people - whether that's lounging at your feet, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the belly rubs you're willing to give. He loves walks, running around the yard, laying in the sun, and any excuse to be outside! It would be ideal for his next family to have a fenced backyard as he loves his outdoor time. If your family is interested, please reach out!

An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Beya – 8 months old – Goldendoodle – ~25 lbs Meet Beya, a happy, bouncy Goldendoodle puppy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! At just seven months old, she’s still very much in her fun, playful stage and is always ready for an adventure. Beya loves other dogs and has done wonderfully with every pup she’s met. She’s social, friendly, and a little goofy in the best way. She would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog or an active family to help her burn off that puppy energy. She enjoys meeting new people and is working on her manners as she grows. Like many young doodles, she can get excited and may jump up to say hello, so a home with older or sturdy kids would be ideal while she continues to learn. Beya is crate trained and doing well with her house habits when kept on a routine. She’s a smart, affectionate girl who loves attention and being part of the action. Like all doodles, she’ll need regular grooming and coat maintenance to keep her looking and feeling her best. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, energetic companion to join you on walks, playtime, and couch snuggles, Beya might be your perfect match! Beya is being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet Daisy – A Gentle Soul Seeking a Calm and Loving Home Daisy is a sweet, 4-year-old Goldendoodle who has spent much of her life in a cage, but she is now ready to start a new chapter with someone who can offer her the patience and understanding she needs. Weighing in at about 70 pounds, she is a gentle and loving dog who thrives in a quiet, peaceful environment. Though she’s still learning about the world outside of her cage, she has a big heart and is slowly becoming more comfortable with her new experiences. While she can be a little shy at first, especially with loud noises, new places, or the TV, she’s very gentle and housebroken, making her a great companion for a family looking for a calm, low-key pet. She’s good with kids and doesn’t resource guard. She has not been out on a leash yet. Daisy will need a patient person or family who understands that she might need a little extra time to adjust to new things, like going outside or being in unfamiliar situations. She’ll need a quiet space where she can relax and just be herself. With time, she will learn to feel more secure, and her true personality will shine through. She loves to sit quietly next to her human and is happiest when she feels safe and relaxed. If you're looking for a quiet girl, she will make a good companion animal. Daisy is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
