Story
Hi, I'm Rynlee! My fluffy ears perk up at the mention of a car ride. I love feeling the breeze ruffle my soft fur. I'm always up for a car ride and content to ride as your co-pilot for any road trip. I'm a smart pup, always eager to learn and try new things. Playing fetch is my favorite game, but I'm also happy to play tug-of-war or just romp around. After playtime, I'm all about the cuddles. I'll nuzzle into your side, content to simply be near you. I'm gentle and friendly, always ready to make new friends. I'm also a bit of a comedian, my funny antics will surely brighten your day. If you are looking for a younger pup who is already crate and potty-trained, I'm your gal!  I'm not just a pet, I'm a loyal companion, a source of endless laughter, and a bundle of unconditional love. Adopt me and let's create beautiful memories together. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   July 14, 2024, 10:27 pm

Story
Get ready to fall in love with Juniper. This super sweet and gorgeous girl is a 5-year-old, 60-lb Golden Retriever who spent the first five years of her life as a puppy mill momma, being bred repeatedly with no glimpse of kindness from humans until she made her way into rescue a few weeks ago. Despite her tough start to life, Juniper has a gentle spirit and the sweetest temperament. She can be a bit shy at first but loves affection from people and seems not to mind the company of her furry or human foster siblings. She walks well on a leash but will sometimes freeze up for a moment and will need a patient adopter who will help her learn how to be a dog and a member of a family. Juniper is doing great with her potty training with only a rare accident but will of course need some time to adjust to her new environment and routine. Currently, she has some separation anxiety and the crate is not her favorite place to be, but she does well in a small space where she knows she is safe when she's not with her people as her trust continues to grow. Juniper is an absolute angel of a pup and deserves an equally gentle, loving and patient forever family! If you think that might be you, apply today! Juniper is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
