Story
We took Pokey in from some people we know who needed to rehome her. They were days away from taking her to a shelter and we wanted to try to avoid that. We have had her a few months now and she is a great companion. She is about 6 years old. She does great with people and children, she does not know a stranger as far as people are concerned. She is super cuddly and loves going on walks. She is a perfect family house dog. She has been through obedience school and did great. However, she does struggle when meeting/being around other dogs. She does fine with our dog, it took a couple of days of working with her but they get along great now. Pokey inconsistently can be agressive with other dogs. She can handle being in the same room as other dogs but she does not always react well when other dogs are in her space. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not. We have not been able to figure out a "trigger" in these situations. With consistent correcting she can be ok around other dogs.

Bluey is a sweet girl that loves to receive pets and love. She doesn't pull on the leash and overall a calm dog. She likes to jump a bit when excited, but that can easily be trained. She loves treats and just being around people. She seems to like kids. We walked past a couple of kids and she got very excited. Please give this good girl a chance ! Bluey is around 3 years old, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in her please fill out an application on the website. MSCrescue.org
