Story
Meet Snoopy 🐾 Snoopy is a bright, playful puppy with a wonderful temperament and a brain to match. He was born to a mom who appears to be mostly Standard Poodle (around 50 lbs), with dad unknown. Based on mom’s size, we expect Snoopy to grow to around 50 lbs when full grown. Snoopy has a sleek coat and striking markings — mostly white with black and brown patches — plus bi-colored eyes that make him extra memorable. He’s confident, curious, and already showing how smart he is. In his foster home, Snoopy has: Learned how to use a dog door Made great progress with potty training and goes outside Shown a playful, happy personality Demonstrated a gentle, easygoing temperament similar to his mom His mom is described as a very nice dog with an excellent temperament, and Snoopy seems to have inherited those same wonderful traits. Story
Chase does well with our cat and I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by a big dog or a wild animal, they said no. Chase has been a part of our family for 3.5 years and he isn't as reactive with big dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers and they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people and attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.

Story
Wendy is a sweet 14-year-old elderly lady. She is mixed between AmStaff and Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She is about 45 pounds. She came from the KC Pet Project in 2012. She has some difficulties. Sometimes after being spayed a dog may become incontinent when they get older. As such her bedding and kennel need to be cleaned a few times a day. She has an inner ear issue that makes her a little dizzy, and she falls occasionally. She also has a pin in her hip from a surgery she had around 2014. In spite of all of this she is cheerful and eager. She is very friendly she likes to greet people. She is good with kids, but they need to understand she is older and not as energetic as some dogs. I'm not sure she would do well with a cat, but she gets along with dogs that are not aggressive toward her. I am undergoing a career change and will be home a few times a month. I cannot take her with me unfortunately.
