Story
Loki and Zod are two boys sweet boys with a lot of energy. Loki is a chocolate lab mix with a good heart and a need for being near those he loves.Zod is a Golden retriever with a lot of love but more independent .Loki is approaching 6 years and zod is approaching 3. Neither are aggressive, but they jump and play rough. They normally listen well to recall commands, especially Loki but Zod will ignore if he is particularly interested in something .They both sit on command though Zod is more stubborn. My brother in-Law works in the army and he will be transferred for 9 months outside the United States, and his wife has a baby 8 months old baby. My sister doesnt drive and doesn't have the energy to care for two energetic dogs, so they are looking for a home that will take both dogs. They were raised together and are inseparable. Im looking for someone who will care for them, love them ,and teach them manners, especially Zod who is still young.

Story
Meet Henry — a 9-Year-Old Golden With a Whole Lot of Life and Love Left to Give 💛 Henry is a senior Golden Retriever with a heart every bit as golden as his coat. Recently surrendered when his lifelong owner could no longer care for him, Henry has handled big changes with grace—and now that he’s officially finished his heartworm treatment, he’s ready for his next chapter. Despite being 9, Henry still has plenty of spunk. He’s sweet, affectionate, and sometimes downright goofy, giving him a younger-dog energy that surprises everyone. 🐾 What Henry Is Like in Foster Care • Velcro-dog tendencies — Once Henry picks “his person,” he sticks like glue. He loves companionship and does best with someone who’s home often. • A little separation anxiety — Not extreme, but he may struggle when left alone for long periods. • Cat friendly — He’s been great with the resident cat. • Selective with dogs — Henry has gotten along well with the foster’s tiny 6-lb dog, but he can be reactive with some dogs, especially around toys. If another dog challenges him, he may escalate. For this reason, Henry would do best as an only dog or with a very calm, compatible dog who won’t compete with him. • Toy quirks — He doesn’t play a ton, but he doesn’t really want other dogs to have toys either. Classic golden logic. • Food-motivated (like… REALLY food-motivated) — Trash cans should be secure, and counters kept clear. He’ll try to steal food from other pets but hasn’t shown food aggression. • Socks & underwear thief — Will gently steal and chew them if left out (but hasn’t ingested anything). • Furniture manners — Won’t get on the couch, bed, or even a dog bed unless invited. 💛 Who Henry Is Looking For Henry deserves a home where he can spend his golden years safe, loved, and understood. A home with structure, patience, and someone around often would help him feel secure. He may be 9, but he’s lively, loyal, and full of joy—he just needs the right fit. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you with his whole heart, Henry is ready to meet you. 👉 Apply to adopt Henry at mscrescue.org/adopt If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Chase does well with our cat and I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by a big dog or a wild animal, they said no. Chase has been a part of our family for 3.5 years and he isn't as reactive with big dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers and they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people and attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.
