Story
Meet Cutie Pie, the dog who has mastered the art of being both the sweetest and fluffiest thing you've ever met—while also managing to keep you on your toes with her occasional burst of energy. She's like a golden retriever...but with a little more attitude, translation: that is her Great Pyrenees side shining through. Whether she's chasing after a toy or napping like a fluffy cloud, she brings a level of cuteness to the world that can only be rivaled by a sunbeam on a lazy Sunday. She’s a whirlwind of joy wrapped in golden fluff, and yes, she knows it. Cutie Pie is a 4.5-month-old, 30lb golden retriever/Great Pyrenees mix—because, obviously, she needed to be a puppy that’s both ridiculously cute and potentially the size of a small bear one day. She’s a joy to have around, playing with all three foster dogs and her personal favorite, Chewbacca. Toys? Oh, she loves them. She’s also a fan of playing fetch, though she really prefers to initiate a high-speed chase with the other dogs—because who needs fetch when you can just run in circles? Now, Cutie Pie has only been around other dogs and adults so far—no purrinators (that’s cats, for the uninitiated) or kiddos to speak of. Given her sweet nature, she’d probably tolerate kids, but just a heads-up: if your kid is the type that gets knocked over by the wind, a rogue pillow, or their own enthusiasm, they might want to take cover. As for purrinators (cats), Cutie Pie hasn't had the pleasure of meeting any yet—so for now, all feline judgment remains blissfully theoretical. As for kids, Cutie Pie hasn't had the pleasure of meeting any yet, so her reaction to tiny humans remains a mystery. Will she love them? Will she decide to treat them like another of her foster siblings? We simply don’t know yet, but don’t worry—she’s got the energy, sweetness, and curiosity to figure it out. Cutie Pie’s energy level falls somewhere between a caffeinated squirrel and a border collie who just discovered a trampoline—so yes, she’s got some pep in her step. She delights in exploring every inch of the house and yard with the seriousness of an undercover agent on a mission, and honestly, she’d probably think going on adventures sounds like the best idea ever. Cutie Pie is as sweet as she is mischievous, effortlessly making friends with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She believes that all dogs, regardless of size, deserve to be chased, pounced on, or at the very least, lovingly annoyed. And squirrels? Well, they are clearly her sworn enemies and must be chased with great enthusiasm at every opportunity (you're welcome, by the way, for the free squirrel patrol service). She'll humor her humans by playing a little fetch, but make no mistake—getting her to bring it back is more of a suggestion than a guarantee. She's extremely friendly with other dogs, which is great, because it gives her more teammates for whatever questionable plans she’s cooking up next. Cutie Pie is potty trained—as long as you, her humble human, stick to her royal schedule. She’s not about to lower herself to guessing when it’s time to go out, oh no. Keep her on a good routine, and she’ll happily grace the outdoors with her presence. Fall off schedule? Well, she might just assume you’ve given up on adulting altogether. Truly, it’s a team effort—and like any good boss, Cutie Pie is very supportive... as long as you follow directions. Cutie Pie is kennel trained, because every queen deserves her own private retreat. Cutie Pie considers herself more of a "part-time commentator" than a full-blown news reporter. She’s not out there announcing every falling leaf or suspicious squirrel movement (although she definitely has opinions about squirrels), but she’s also not the strong, silent type who contemplates life in utter silence. She'll offer her input when something really demands attention—like an unfamiliar noise, a rogue squirrel, or perhaps a particularly offensive Amazon delivery. Overall, she's a medium-to-low barker who saves her vocal stylings for moments she feels are truly important... or, you know, just whenever she feels like reminding everyone that she’s still the cutest creature in the room. Cutie Pie is not a big chewer—because, of course, she’s just too classy for that. This is yet another shining example of what a golden girl she truly is. While other puppies are out there waging war on shoes, furniture, and your favorite pair of socks, Cutie Pie prefers to live life with a little more sophistication. She might chew on a toy now and then (because, hey, she's still a puppy), but she’s more interested in keeping your home intact while she works on becoming the fluffiest, most perfect little angel in existence. She's saving her energy for the important things, like barking at squirrels and perfecting her zoomie choreography. What a saint. Well, folks, if you’ve made it this far, congratulations—you’re now one step closer to having Cutie Pie in your life. She’s ready to bring her golden charm, sweetness, and just the right amount of sass to your home. If you're thinking, "Yes, I need this pup," then fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app, and we’ll send it off to her foster family faster than Cutie Pie can plot her next zoomie session. Just a heads-up—she’s in Tulsa, OK, so make sure you’re ready to pick her up and start your adventure together. Cutie Pie is waiting... don’t make her wait too long!
