Story
Rogan is a handsome sweetheart. The name Rogan is Gaelic for 'red' - his coat colour. He loves to play with toys, with people, with other dogs, and on his own. Rogan is not a barker, but he is a communicator. On occasion, he will “talk” to you explaining his thoughts. He is a golden/husky/poodle mix, crate trained, eager to learn, and a very observant young man. Rogan eagerly gives kisses to his 15 pound (7 kg) foster brother - and anyone else in licking range. He takes treats gently and calmly. He is clean in the house, and progressing with walking on leash without pulling. More training is required on how to meet new friends calmly. Although we were told he was born August 2024, we believe he is a few months older. Nevertheless, he still thinks and acts as a puppy. Our vet gave him a clean bill of health. He has a COI of zero on his DNA test. Rogan needs someone who can gently, quietly, and firmly manage an alpha dog. Rogan’s happy enthusiasm is infectious. But his speed and exuberance may be overwhelming for small dogs or young children, and cats. His new home will require a fully fenced yard or access to regular exercise. He would greatly benefit from a dog companion to run and play with him. Rogan is a kind hearted, dedicated, adventurous, and joyful companion. We now offer a 2 week foster to adopt program We only accept adopters who live in the GHTA - Greater Toronto Hamilton Area of Ontario. Story
Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐶💛 Meet Nilla – A Loving and Energetic Golden Mix Girl 💛 🐾 Name: Nilla 🎂 Age: Estimated 7–8 months 🚺 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 19 kg (≈ 42 lbs) 🐕 Breed: Golden Retriever Mix 💛 Personality & Charm Nilla is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic girl who loves people more than anything! She’s always wagging her tail, eager to be near her humans, and full of puppy joy. 🩷 She’s an active, happy girl who thrives with attention, play, and daily adventures. 🌳🐾 Adults: Absolutely loves everyone she meets. Children: Great with kids but may be too energetic for very young children — she sometimes jumps or playfully nibbles when excited. Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with other dogs! She loves to play, though can be a bit rough with large dogs. She’s gentle with puppies and adjusts her energy. She may get a little jealous if another dog approaches while she’s being petted. Cats: Very curious and approaches without fear. If a cat acts aggressively, she may bark or get excited, but otherwise coexists fine. 🚽 Potty Training Nilla is about 80 % outdoor-trained and improving fast. She uses pee pads when indoors, though prefers going outside. Her foster expects that as she matures, she’ll become fully outdoor-trained. 👉 A family who can take her for 3 short walks a day would be ideal. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Leash Manners Nilla loves walks! She may pull slightly at the beginning until she relieves herself, but she calms down quickly. When she sees other dogs or cats, she can get excited — but if you hold the leash firmly and ask her to sit, she listens right away. She’s food-motivated, smart, and learns quickly. ✨ With consistent training, she’ll become a wonderful walking companion. 🏡 Home Life & Behavior No separation anxiety Chews on toys or wooden sticks when alone — please keep small or unsafe items out of reach Has never chewed furniture or walls Loves to be touched and cuddled 🤗 A bit scared of grooming (baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning), but she stays calm and never bites. She’s learning to trust and improving every week. 💔 Rescue Story Nilla was rescued from a city shelter’s euthanasia list. She nearly lost her chance at life, but thanks to rescuers’ love and care, she was saved and is now ready to find her forever family. Nilla is full of love, intelligence, and joy. She’s ready to bring endless affection and smiles to the family who opens their heart to her. 💛 Adopt Nilla and let her bright spirit light up your home. 🐾

QUICK FACTS Name: Big Pony Age: 5 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Golden Retriever Color: Light Brown Weight: 30 kg / 66 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a pension where I had been abandoned and left alone for a long time.   MY HEALTH Heartworm test negative on October 10.   MY PERSONALITY I have a very friendly and gentle personality. I get along well with people and other dogs, but I’m confident enough to stand up to those who are rude. I enjoy playing with toys and sometimes can be a bit stubborn about letting go, but I respond well to positive guidance. I’m calm in new situations, follow people easily, and enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly and affectionate, so I approach not only people I know but also strangers, rubbing against them and letting them pet me easily. You can even lift me up by putting your arms under my belly, and I often show my belly to people I’ve just met. · With Dogs: I’m very sociable and like to approach not only familiar dogs but also unfamiliar ones to say hello and invite them to play. I’m generally friendly toward dogs that are about the same size as me. · With Cats: I haven’t shown any reaction to cats.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a normal energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I usually rest quietly afterward. I tend to pull on the leash a bit, but overall, I follow people well.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs. I rarely bark, but I may bark to express what I want. I stay calm when I’m in a kennel. I can get in and out of the car by myself. I’m trained to go to the bathroom both on indoor pads and outdoors. When I visit new places, I may have a tendency to mark.   MY IDEAL HOME My ideal home would have a loving family who can give me attention and playtime. A household with other friendly dogs would be great, as I enjoy socializing, but I also need space to relax. I do well with both indoor pads and outdoor walks for bathroom needs. A home with a yard or access to outdoor areas for exercise would be perfect, along with patient owners who can guide me gently when I get stubborn with toys.   SPECIAL NOTES I have a very good temperament and get along well with everyone. If someone is rude or disrespectful, I make sure to correct them. I love my toys and don’t let go once I bite them, so you need to use a treat to lure them away.   Big Pony's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2579612##

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Ilbok Age: 2 years old (Born January 2023) Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Golden Retriever Mix Color: Beige Current Weight: 18 kg My Personality Hey there! I'm Ilbok, a fun-loving and affectionate boy who can't wait to find a family to share all my love with. I may be a little cautious at first, but once I trust you, I’ll show you just how sweet and friendly I can be! I adore people and am always excited to say hello. I’ll happily approach new faces and let you give me all the attention I crave. If you call me, I'll come running—I'm all about making connections! Although I’m friendly with humans, I do take a little time to warm up to other dogs. I can be a bit guarded initially, especially if another dog gets too close too fast, so it’s important to give me the space I need when meeting new pups. I’m just being cautious, but once I get to know you, I’m a great companion. I’ve got a heart full of potential and am ready to build friendships with the right dog pals. On My Walks Oh, how I love my walks! There’s nothing better than getting outside, feeling the breeze, and sniffing all the new scents in the world. I do like to pull on the leash a bit because I’m just so excited to explore! I’ll stop and sniff along the way, and if I see something exciting, I’ll want to check it out. But don’t worry, with a little training, I’ll get better at walking with you calmly by my side. I love the outdoors, and I promise we’ll have lots of fun together—whether it’s a stroll or a more energetic walk. Life At Home When I’m home, I’m the best companion you could ask for. I’m a curious boy who loves being around people, so I’ll probably follow you around, always wanting to know what’s going on. I’m very affectionate and enjoy being petted and loved. I’m also quite adaptable. I do my business indoor and outdoor. I might mark in new enviroment. I’m pretty well-behaved, and while I may show some excitement before meals or walks, I promise it’s just because I’m eager to have a good time with you. I don’t guard my food around people but with other dogs I am still learning. I’m still working on some manners, but I’m a fast learner and I know I’ll do great in a home that gives me the right guidance. My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving, active family who will appreciate my playful energy and my affectionate nature. Here’s what I’d love in my forever home: Active Adventures: I’d love to be part of a family who enjoys outdoor activities. Whether it’s a long walk, a fun hike, or some playtime in the yard, I’m ready for action! Patience & Guidance: I’m still growing and learning, and I’d thrive in a home where I can continue developing my skills and building my confidence with positive reinforcement. Companionship: I’m social and love being around people, so I’d prefer a home where I’m not left alone for long periods. I thrive when I’m part of the family. Dog-Free: I’d do best as the only dog in the home. Last Message If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will always be excited to share his love and enjoy the world with you, I might be your perfect match! I can’t wait to meet you and start our next adventure together.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Ilbok's YouTube Playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JwkBxxdtpKRWMXKSXQmWH07&si=PpQFB7u8W9at7g-e ##2458103##

Story
Meet Denny — The Sweetest Golden Retriever Looking for His Forever Family!   Name: Denny Age: 4 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Golden Retriever Color: Gold Weight: 31 kg Height: 66 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Denny was rescued in February 2025 after being placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter. He stayed at a private shelter for several months and moved to his foster home in June. Since then, he has blossomed into the most affectionate, people-loving Golden boy.   ‍‍‍ Socialization with People Denny is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves everyone — familiar people and strangers alike. • He leans in for pets, rubs against people, and loves belly rubs. • He is excellent with children under 13 and is comfortable being lifted or handled gently. • Even with new people, he often rolls over to show his belly. • He enjoys being near people during downtime, though he prefers sleeping alone. • He can be very enthusiastic — sometimes running in for hugs or kisses, which can surprise those not used to big friendly dogs! • No issues with baths, paw cleaning, or handling. He tolerates teeth brushing but isn’t a fan.   Socialization with Dogs Denny is friendly and polite with other dogs. • He approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to greet and play. • He matches well with medium to large dogs and enjoys playful interactions.   With Cats • He watches cats with curiosity outdoors, but when guided by his handler, he follows direction well and continues walking. (He may be suitable for a cat home with proper introductions.)   Energy Level • At first glance he seems high-energy, but his stamina is moderate. • After 3–4 hours of outdoor activity, he often falls asleep as soon as he gets in the car. • During play with dog friends, he starts energetic but will bark to set boundaries when he becomes tired or overstimulated.   ‍ Walks & Outdoor Behavior Denny is a joy to walk. • He has plenty of leash experience and doesn’t pull. • He loves sniffing and will naturally slow down or stop to explore scents. • He becomes excited when he sees the leash — may jump or mouth the leash — so calming him before leaving the house is important. • He loves balls and toys; he can even find hidden balls in grass and often brings home any he discovers during walks!   Other Behaviors • No resource guarding toward people or dogs. • Rarely barks. • Calm in a crate and knows how to get in/out of the car by himself. • Sometimes refuses to get in the car after walks because he wants to stay outside longer. • Mostly potty-trained outdoors. • If he has stomach discomfort early in the morning, he will wake his person up to go outside — letting him out promptly helps prevent indoor accidents. • Occasionally gets soft stool after eating too many treats.   Denny Is Looking For… A family who loves Golden Retrievers’ affectionate, goofy, people-loving personality. Someone who enjoys outdoor activities, understands his excitement around walks, and can provide structure, companionship, and lots of love.   If you think Denny could be the perfect match for you, please submit an adoption application!
