A Thoughtful Soul Waiting for Calm Kale Salad is a beautiful male with soft tan fur and a gentle presence. New to us, he’s feeling overwhelmed by the shelter environment and is currently shy and shut down as he takes it all in. His expression seems to say he’s looking for a safe, calm place where he can finally relax and feel understood. He looks like a Shepherd/Retriever mix, possibly with Labrador influence, and has a well-balanced build at around 45 pounds. Kale Salad came to us after another shelter ran out of space, and now he’s hoping for a chance to decompress and show who he really is outside of a noisy setting. Neutered and ready for his next chapter, Kale Salad is the kind of dog who seems to be waiting for someone to notice him, give him a little grace, and show him that life can feel safe again.
