Story
Some dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves, while others just need a little time. This sweet boy is still settling into shelter life and can be a bit shy, especially around the noise of barking dogs. When he's feeling unsure, he'll happily walk close behind his person, looking to them for reassurance.Once he's away from the kennel environment, his personality starts to shine. He enjoys leisurely walks, taking time to sniff and explore, and checks in with his handler often. He's housetrained, walks nicely on a loose leash, and politely ignores both people and other dogs while out and about.Toys aren't usually his thing—but hand him a shark stuffie and you'll see the cutest side of him! Watching him toss it into the air and catch it himself is guaranteed to make you smile. It's clear he's beginning to relax and come out of his shell a little more every day. This gentle, medium-energy boy would thrive with a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. Give him a little time, a quiet place to decompress, and maybe a shark toy of his own, and you'll get to watch his confidence grow into something truly special. Story
Charley is an easygoing, thoughtful girl who has settled beautifully into her foster home. After nearly a decade in one home, she’s taken this big life transition in stride; within minutes of walking into her current foster home, she was relaxing, following the household routine, and coexisting peacefully with resident dogs and cats. She enjoys being near her people, joining in on “pack” walks, and soaking up the simple comforts of home life. Charley is a friendly dog who seeks out connection, but she prefers a respectful, consent-based approach to touch. She’s shown that she’s most comfortable with gentle, predictable interactions and does best when her boundaries, especially around her neck and while eating, are honored. In her foster home, she’s been calm and easy to live with, including during mealtimes when given appropriate space. She is reliably house-trained with no accidents and walks nicely on leash, making her a smooth addition to a daily routine. Charley will thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who understands dog body language and is comfortable managing mild resource guarding and touch sensitivity. In return, she offers loyalty, companionship, and a genuinely sweet nature that shines when she feels safe and understood. She’s a great match for a quieter home without young children, where she can continue to relax and be appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.

Meet Bella! 🐾❤️ Bella is a loving, caring girl with a big heart and a very loyal personality. She is incredibly protective of the people she loves and will always want to be close to her family. Bella absolutely loves tummy scratches and enjoys spending time around children. She can get very excited when kids are around, but once she settles down, she is gentle and sweet with them. Don’t let her sweet personality fool you—Bella is one strong and tough cookie! She isn’t afraid of fireworks and is definitely not easily scared. And if you really want to make her happy, give her some ice! 🧊 She LOVES, LOVES eating ice! Bella is a loyal, affectionate, playful girl who has so much love to give. She would make a wonderful companion for a family who will appreciate her big personality and give her the love and patience she deserves. ❤️🐶

Story
Sharon’s story isn’t the easiest—but it’s far from over.At just 1 year old and 20 pounds, this Retriever mix has already shown how resilient she is. After being hit by a car, Sharon is now on the road to recovery and will need an FHO surgery to help her back leg heal properly. Despite everything she’s been through, she continues to show quiet strength every day.During her time in a foster home, Sharon started off a little fearful, but with patience and consistency, she began to settle in and grow more confident with each passing day. One thing that really helped her come out of her shell? Another dog. Sharon absolutely loves canine companionship and seems to gain confidence from having a dog friend by her side. She’s still recovering and taking things slow, but she’s already showing us that she wants to trust, to feel safe, and to belong.Sharon would do best in a patient, understanding home—ideally with another confident dog to help guide her—where she can continue healing both physically and emotionally. She’s been through a lot, but with the right support, Sharon has such a bright future ahead of her.

Story
I’ve had this doggo for his 9 years of life. We’ve had amazing adventures. He’s lived all over the world. He’s started being more and more isolated in his room due to my busy schedule from work and almost never being home. I don’t want to see him go, but I know life is about to get more busy with my second child on the way + potentially moving to Europe soon. I want to ensure he’s at a good home. He’s super calm and well trained in the house. He’s always just chilling and relaxing. He loves hugs and being around people.
