Story
It is with a very heavy heart that we need to look to rehome our sweet Daisy. The only reason is because both my kiddo has a recent diagnosis of severe dog allergy but I do too. She is the most gentle sweet loving dog ever and it’s very hard to do this. She is a purebred English cream golden retriever. She is akc registered and up to date on vaccines. She is 3 years old. Potty trained, good with everyone. We look forward to hearing from you.

Story
Located in Woodbridge VA Looking for a new home for our little boy. Unfortunately due to our current circumstances and busy schedule we are unable to care for him as he deserves. Canelo is a mini golden doodle (who obviously got more of the golden retriever gene than the doodle) he is only 7 months old and loves to run around and play. He is also great with kids. Canelo loves to snuggle and also loves to be outside. We are not looking to gain anything but a good family/owner for him. If you are interested and willing to answer a series of questions to ensure we place him in the right home please DM me.

We thank Northside Veterinary Clinic in Arlington for their generous sponsorship of Snoop Dog which means his adoption fee is WAIVED!! You can learn more about them at http://www.northsidevetclinic.com/index.html If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail any questions to: Jamie, nereid_parson.02@icloud.com PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ LOCATION: Trails Home Farm, 2581 Winchester Rd, Delaplane, VA HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Any dog at the Trails Home Farm or in foster require an appointment for any approved adopter to have a meet and greet. ADOPTION FEE: WAIVED! Meet Snoop Dog!! Snoop Dog has an amazing connection to people. He loves to be loved on but the poor thing is so insecure and feels you may take his food away from him so he truly doesn't want to be bothered while he eats. He suffers from resource guarding and the new adopter will need to continue training to help and provide patience and understanding while he deems something as his. Snoop Dog is SO smart and knows some really cool commands, like paw, speak, heal, and stay. He aims to please! He has not had a single accident in his kennel so he may be potty trained....BONUS! Poor Snoop suffered from separation anxiety in his previous foster home so he comes with a specific crate when he is adopted. Snoop will need someone to help him continue to improve with this. Due to his separation anxiety, Snoop is not suited for an apartment home. Snoop Dog is currently on a fish-based diet to help with some allergies. Snoop Dog may have some flaws but this should never prevent a dog from finding the perfect match. We know the right person is out there for him to take him out of the chaos of the shelter environment. Come meet Snoop and see for yourself how much love he has to offer. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Snoop Dog is dog selective and prefers to meet other dogs slowly on a walk before he's ready to engage in play. This may take some time. He likes to roughhouse when playing. Not dog park material. KNOWN WITH CATS: unknown KNOWN WITH KIDS: Snoop Dog would do best in an adult only home. KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit, down, paw, speak, heal, stay KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Snoop Dog has some separation anxiety that he struggles with but has been managed well with Trazadone, as needed. KNOWN LIKES: People and attention KNOWN DISLIKES: Kennel life. Others around while he is eating things. Snoop Dog has become a little depressed since being in the shelter. He is more than ready to find a home! We again thank Northside Veterinary Clinic in Arlington for their generous sponsorship of Snoop Dog which means his adoption fee is WAIVED!! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 45 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Grace does well with other dogs. She plays with other dogs at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center and is considered a hard player who would do best (if there is another dog in the home) with someone who is active but confident about asserting their boundaries. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how Grace is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We don't know how Grace is with kids. KNOWN COMMANDS: We are not positive that Grace has really mastered any tricks yet. We think because she is so active, that she would do well with training in a quiet environment with little distraction. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Grace is housebroken to our knowledge. KNOWN LIKES: People, treats and affection. KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Grace, the spirited pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life that's sure to bring joy to any home. With an estimated weight of 45 lbs, Grace may be compact in size, but she's bursting with energy and affection. In the realm of canine companionship, Grace is a social butterfly, thriving in the company of other dogs at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center. However, her exuberant play style may require an owner who is active and confident in setting boundaries. With the right guidance, Grace is sure to make a wonderful playmate for a furry friend. While her interactions with cats and children are currently unknown, Grace's friendly demeanor and love for people suggest that she may adapt well to both with proper introductions and guidance. Although her command repertoire may be limited, Grace's boundless energy and eagerness to learn make her a prime candidate for training in a quiet environment with minimal distractions. With patience and consistency, she's sure to master new tricks in no time. In terms of housebreaking, Grace is believed to be housebroken, making her a low-maintenance companion for any household. Additionally, she settles nicely in her crate, providing a safe space for her to relax and unwind. Grace's list of likes is simple yet heartwarming - she thrives on the love and affection of her human companions, along with tasty treats to reward her good behavior. However, she does have a dislike for loud noises, so a calm and peaceful environment would suit her best. Despite her past challenges, including sensitivity at the vet and making a mess at home, Grace is ready to turn over a new leaf and find a loving forever family who can provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and, most importantly, unconditional love. If you're seeking a loyal and energetic companion to join your home, look no further than Grace - she's waiting to steal your heart and become your steadfast furry friend for life.
