Story
Hey there! My name is Jasmine, and I have had quite the life adventure! Would you care to listen? My puppies and I were brought here by a rescue from across the country. I`m so grateful that all my pups have already found their new homes, but I think it is my turn now! I`m a sweet girl who just needs a soft place to land. Are you the person for me? I may do best at a home with no other dogs, as sometimes they make me nervous! Come pay me a visit and we can decide if this is a good match!Size: ~40 lbsMedical History: I appear to be a healthy and happy dog, but it`s always a good idea to get established with a vet soon after adoption so that I stay that way!Adoption Fee: $200 + tax

Story
✨ Meet Joey — Hoping for a Home by Christmas ✨ Joey is a sweet 9-year-old gentleman looking for a calm, loving home to call his own. He’s had a lot of changes in his life recently, so he’ll need a little time to decompress — but once he feels safe, he becomes the most loyal, affectionate companion you could hope for. 🏡 Personality & Home Life A total velcro dog who loves to follow his humans everywhere. Cuddling on the couch is his absolute favorite pastime. Fully housebroken and politely asks to go outside by whining. Not a barker, not a chewer, not a digger, and he doesn’t jump on people. Can be left home alone for about 4 hours. Loads nicely into the car and loves car rides. 🐾 Manners & Skills Walks beautifully on a leash. Knows all his commands. Not a door-dasher and sits nicely to greet guests. Does great with other dogs and is very comfortable with cats — he even lets the cat snuggle and lick his head! Doesn’t run in the house and stays out of the trash. Fast eater, so he uses a slow-feeder bowl. 🧸 Likes & Quirks Loves his balls and bones. Enjoys finding “prizes” — but because he prefers to keep them, he needs a calm, adults-only home where exchanges are done gently with tasty treats. Has a funny habit of eating Kleenex; if he gets one, just let him finish it. Does not appreciate having his collar pulled. Instead, clip on a leash and guide him gently. Not a fan of crates due to being boarded for 2 months. ❤️ Health Joey has mild arthritis that’s well-managed with supplements and Carprofen. He gets around comfortably and enjoys his walks. Joey is a gentle soul who has been through a lot and is ready for a peaceful, loving home where he can feel secure again. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion who will warm your couch, follow you everywhere, and love you with his whole heart, Joey might be your perfect match. He would truly appreciate a home for Christmas. 🎄🐾

Story
Meet ROOKIE - the Fetch Champion, Golden Fluff Enthusiast, and Professional People-Lover!At 5-years-old, Rookie is the perfect combo of youthful energy and golden retriever sweetness. This handsome boy is PACKED with love, fluff, and enthusiasm - and he’s ready to brighten every single day of his future family`s life.Rookie is, quite literally, obsessed with fetch. If fetch were a sport, he’d have Olympic medals. If fetch required training, he’d be the coach. If fetch needed dedication… well, he’d play ALL. DAY. LONG.So yes - his ideal adopter may want to start warming up that shoulder. A strong throwing arm is definitely a plus! He’s got energy for days and a happy, playful spirit that makes him an instant mood-booster. Whether he’s zooming across the yard, proudly returning his ball, or greeting people with that megawatt golden retriever smile, Rookie brings joy everywhere he goes. This sweet boy came to WCAS under heartbreaking circumstances - his beloved owner sadly passed away, leaving him without the person he adored. He was surrendered with his canine friend Ranger, suggesting he would do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed! If you’re looking for a goofy, loving, endlessly fun golden boy, Rookie is ready to become your MVP - Most Valuable Pup! Story
I rescued Finn four years ago from a shelter in New Mexico. He has always been an only dog until I moved here to Wisconsin and we got another dog and had a baby. He is extremely playful, gentle and potty trained. Within the past two years he has started being food aggressive. If he is an only dog he will be fine, if other pets are in the house we just separate them into different rooms.
