The sky, besides being stunningly, beautiful, is very versatile and well behaved. He is good with kids, cats and other dogs. He walks nicely on leash. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He's large but gentle. He would make a wonderful family pet. He does excellent in a gated off space at night. He is smart and eager to learn!

Story
Hi, my name is Boss Hog, I am about 1 year old & am a slender 46 lbs. My life before this wasn't great. My owner died when I was young, & I came to the shelter with the two other dogs I lived with, I hadn't been around a lot of people so that was really scary! Then I started to get sick, it turned out to be parvo but I'm a strong little guy & came through it! I've also got a bit of a limp from an injury when I was even younger, but I don't mind, the wonderful TX folks made sure I came to WI where I'm now waiting for a place that will love me just the way I am. Here's what I've show my foster family. I'm house/crate/leash trained; I'm learning to like toys like stuffies & Benebones. I'm very timid with new people (my foster mom says my name is aspirational ;-)), so you'll need to be patient while I learn to trust you. I didn't meet many new people in my old life, & I get overwhelmed & shutdown. I do well in my foster's fenced yard, chasing & sniffing, I like to explore. I haven't met any kids or cats yet. I get along great with dogs of all shapes & sizes, they're my happy place!! I trust the other dogs to show me what's safe, so I really need a confident dog friend to show me the way. Once I'm comfortable with them, we can run & chase & play, we can have so much fun!!I may not show you who I am when you first meet me, but I've got so much love to give, with a little patience I'd love to be yours!DATCP#483538

Story
AJ is eight years old and weighs in around 55 pounds (would you believe genetic testing showed that he was 50% Chihuahua?!) He walks fantastically on a leash and loves to lay by you on the couch, but will also be pleasantly happy on a dog bed or the floor. He knows basic sign language for common commands. His favorite snack is popcorn, and he also enjoys peanut butter, plain yogurt, all dog cookies and snacks. He is very well house trained, and will let you know when he has to go out by staring and poking you with his nose, while making a small mooing sound! He does not love baths, but will tolerate them without much of a fight. He gets the zoomies after fresh air, and definitely after having a bowel movement. He`ll engage you in a game of tug for a short bit, but as otherwise is rather calm and lazy. AJ would do best in a home that isnt super chaotic. An adult only home would be best, otherwise an home with older children (13 years+).You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!! Story
Meet wonderful Waylon! Waylon is a medium energy 6-year-old Retriever mix who weighs ~85 lbs. He loves walking, walkies, and W-A-L-K-S. His lesser loves include treatos, splashing around in his pool, and rolling around in the grass before or after splashing around in his pool. He has an opinionated, goofy sweet personality that makes his foster smile every day. A best-fit home for Waylon would have humans who were about giving instead of getting, at least at the start. Waylon had bad experiences with humans in a past life so needs a home that will give him affection on his terms until you`ve earned his trust. His home would include all humans over the age of 13. Because of his past, Waylon needs proper introductions to strangers and for people to recognize when he needs space. Waylon`s new humans should also enjoy walks. He is not a high energy pup, but walking is genuinely his favorite thing. One longer walk (~45 minutes) or a couple shorter walks almost every day would be his ideal. In addition to his general awesomeness, Waylon would delight his new humans by being house and crate-trained, riding well in a car, and knowing, if not always performing, basic commands like sit, wait, down, and please don`t roll in that! He just needs a chance.
