Meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is an adorable and high energy 3 month old puppy who is looking to start her life right away! Sweet Pea is looking for an adopter who is going to give her lots of training and socialization while she is growing up. Sweet Pea still needs: Leash work, potty training, basic training all young dogs benefit from, and even though she loves everyone she has met so far we strongly encourage her meeting everyone she can so she can get adjusted to anyone and everyone she may meet in her life. Sweet Pea is looking froward to being your next family member soon! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Puppies in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT SIGHT UNSEEN If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the puppy first, we can help over the phone or by email. (413) 781-4000 x 1 or email springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours. Puppies are adopted on a first come, first served basis, and we’re not able to place holds on them. All puppy adoption fees include: -spay/neuter -kennel cough vaccination -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
