Ulli is a sweet 9-year-old German Shepherd who still has the energy of a puppy. I got her from the Czech Republic in 2018 while stationed in Germany, and she has been a wonderful companion. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet FIGGY she was surrendered to a shelter that is FULL, not good news. She is just a puppy, playful, dog friendly and fully vetted. Loves to play with toys, treats and belly rubs are some of her favorite things. She is looking for a family to call all her own. Friendly, well-socialized, typical GSD loyal, loving temperament. Obedience trained and also understands hand signals. Very high energy outside, goes to the dog park several times a week, accustomed to a long walk each day. Good house manners, quiet and well-behaved inside. Fine with other dogs, not cat tested. Alsa has spent lots of time with the grandkids and she’s fine with the older ones but too active for the toddler. Housebroken and crate trained. Affectionate with her people and loves to cuddle. Good on the leash, rides great in the car. Weighs about 70 pounds. Alsa’s owner has had her since she was 8 weeks old, he loves her dearly and is heartbroken about giving her up. However, he has developed health issues that prevent him from caring for Alsa any longer. Healthy, spayed and fully vetted. AWESOME young GSD will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family that loves the breed. Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Woody is a 1 yo male German shepherd mix dog who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly, sweet temperament, a little tentative at first with new people and situations, typical shepherd temperament. Woody is selective about his dog friends and would probably enjoy being the only dog. He’s friendly and non-aggressive with the cats on the other side of the fence. Fine with kids and recommended for dog savvy children 10 years and older. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. When he first came to us, Woody had heartworms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. 🐾 MEET BANJO — URGENT FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED 🐾 Banjo is a 5-year-old German Shepherd with a gentle, mellow personality and the sweetest face. ❤️ Banjo came to us as part of a heartbreaking cruelty and neglect case. He and the other dogs were found living in horrific conditions, with some confined in crates containing approximately two inches of feces and urine. Their former owners were arrested, and the case is still making its way through the court system. Banjo was found tied outside on the property and had suffered severe fly strike to his ears. The damage permanently changed the tips of his ears—but we happen to think those little ears just add to his unique cuteness. 🥹❤️ And despite everything he’s been through, Banjo LOVES people. He is good with other dogs and is a more relaxed, mellow kind of guy. Because of his laid-back personality, we think a home with older children would be the best fit for him. If you already have dogs, we will require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable together. 🏡 Because the court case is still pending, we are looking for a FOSTER-TO-ADOPT home for Banjo. Once we are awarded legal custody through the court, his placement can transition to an official adoption. Banjo will be fully vetted and neutered, and we will work with his foster-to-adopt family throughout the process. 🚨 WE NEED A HOME FOR BANJO ASAP. He is currently living in a boarding facility that will soon be closing for an entire month. After everything Banjo has already endured, we don’t want his next stop to be another kennel.
