🐾 Hi Everyone! We’re the Mississippi Mud Car Puppies! 🐾 …aka the cutest, silliest, snuggliest little pack you’ll ever meet! So picture this: There we were — five tiny pups huddled together on a lonely dirt road in Mississippi. It was raining, we were cold, and we were definitely not built for outdoor camping. But we stuck together like the fluffy little troop we are until some humans came and said, “Hey! You guys deserve a better life!” And boy, were they right. 😄❤️ Now we’re in our foster home, living the good life — and we’re ready to find forever families of our own! 🎉 Here’s the Scoop on Us: We are: 🥰 VERY loving 🤣 Slightly mischievous (the cute kind!) 🐾 Professional wrestlers 🌱 Backyard explorers 🧸 Toy collectors 💋 Human kiss‑givers We LOVE to romp and tackle each other, zoom around the yard, and pile onto our humans for snuggles. Toys? YES. Outside time? DOUBLE YES. Being adored? THE BEST. We promise to fill your home with laughter, joy, and maybe the occasional stolen sock. (Oops. Our bad. 😇) 📣 A Message From Us Puppies: Important Stuff! Okay, okay… now for the serious part. We’re adorable — we know. But we’re also a LOT of work. Here’s what we need: 🕒 Someone who won’t leave us more than 2–3 hours a day 🍽️ Meals 3 times a day (we’re growing superstars!) 🚽 LOTS of potty breaks 🏫 Training & socializing (we’re babies… we need guidance!) 💞 Patience, consistency, and alllll the love If you put in the effort now, we’ll grow up to be the BEST dogs ever. Like, “forever loyal, always joyful, and absolutely part of the family” kind of dogs. ❤️ Our Plea to Future Humans: Please only apply if you’re REALLY ready for a puppy. We’ve already had a rough start, and we don’t want to be failed again. But if you’re ready to love, teach, cuddle, and raise us… 🌟 We promise to adore you for the rest of our lives. 🌟 Apply now and choose your favorite little Mississippi miracle! (We vote all of us. Just saying. 😉) If interested in Chevy, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Heartworm Test Fecal Test, Deworming Microchip Flea and Tick Prevention Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment. Meet the Mississippi Miracle Litter! 🐶❤️ Five tiny adventurers who beat the odds and are now ready for loving forever homes! These adorable pups were found as strays living alone on a dirt road in Mississippi — just the five of them, sticking together and doing their best to survive. When one of our amazing volunteers found them, they were SO relieved and SO grateful for the help. Now they’re safe, thriving, and blossoming into the happiest, most affectionate little pups you could ever meet. About the Litter These babies are: ✨ Loving ✨ Mischievous (in the cutest ways) ✨ Playful and full of personality ✨ People‑adoring cuddle bugs They love everyone they meet and already show so much sweetness and resilience. Their goofy antics, curiosity, and zest for life will keep you entertained all day long! Spotlight on Noah Noah is the calm, thoughtful heart of the litter — the sweet little observer who takes everything in before deciding how to join the fun. While his siblings may dive headfirst into mischief, Noah likes to watch first with those big, curious eyes… and then pounce in with perfect timing. He’s gentle but playful, loving but independent, and has the sweetest way of slipping his head into your hand as if to say, “Hey, I’m here. Love me.” He enjoys romping with his littermates, exploring the world at his own pace, and carrying toys around like prized treasures. Noah has a quiet charm that wins people over instantly. He may not be the wildest of the bunch, but he’s definitely one of the most heart-melting. Once he bonds with you, he sticks close — following you around, checking in, and giving that soft little tail wag that makes everything feel brighter. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a playful spark and a whole lot of love to give… Noah is your boy. Important Puppy Information These cuties may be adorable, but they are also full‑time commitments. As puppies, they require: 🕒 Supervision and time — They cannot be left alone more than 2–3 hours total per day. 🍽️ Feeding 3 times a day 🚽 Frequent potty breaks 🏫 Training & socializing — This is CRITICAL. Puppies need consistent exposure, structure, and bonding during these early months. 💞 Guidance, patience, and love Proper training and socialization now set the foundation for confident, well‑behaved, happy adult dogs. Without it, behavioral issues are far more likely to develop. With it? You get a loyal, loving, AMAZING family member for life. Our Request to Potential Adopters Please only apply if you are truly ready for the responsibility of raising a puppy. We take our foster pups extremely seriously. We want them to succeed — not be failed by humans again. If you can commit to training, socializing, loving, and guiding one of these wonderful babies, you will gain a companion who will adore you endlessly. Ready to Fall in Love? If you’re looking for a silly, snuggly, joyful new family member with a heart full of love and resilience… Apply now! Your perfect puppy — maybe Tova herself — is waiting for you. 🐾💛 If interested in Noah, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com. Story
Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
