Meet Shortbread of our Holiday Cookie Litter! He is a ten week of age Goldendoodle mix. This litter of three came from a larger accidental litter where momma was the Goldendoodle and daddy was a traveling man. Shortbread is just a baby and would like a family that will be active and include him in their daily activities. He is a friendly and happy puppy and with socialization and obedience training provided by a loving family, he is ready to shape into the perfect adult. The fur is beginning to get cute and fuzzy on this handsome puppy and he can't wait to join a family for the holiday! Ashley (Black, 4.5 years old and 63lbs), and her BFF Holly (Golden color, 3.5 years old and 45lbs) are a bonded pair of Goldendoodle girls who have been surrendered to GRRAND as their owner has become ill and is unable to care for them. They are such good sweet girls and are being re-homed at no fault of their own. They are both house-trained and crate-trained, and have full run of the house when left alone. They used to sleep on the bed with their dad, but now they sleep on the same dog bed together. They are good with other dogs but unknown with cats. Holly is not a fan of fireworks or thunder. Their new family will need to have the time to help these girls with the adjustments to their new home and offer them the exercise and direction they need as young Doodles must have.  We are still learning about these girls, but if you would like to meet them, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2601412##

Story
Charlie is a 7 year old, 70lb male Goldendoodle who is being surrendered to GRRAND at no fault of his own. He is looking for a home that has the time and patience to work with him on on socialization and behavior as sadly, he has basically lived his 7 years with no guidance and training.  Charlie is soooo sweet, and gets along with other dogs (German shepherds, dachshunds, etc) and doesn't mind cats. He is crate trained and is in it when he is left alone. He is a handsome, full size Goldendoodle. Charlie has lost 20 pounds and he loves to romp and play, so he would benefit from a fenced in yard or a family committed to giving him the daily exercise he craves. He does seem to pull on leash, but our volunteer had just met him and he wanted to sniff everywhere, but some work will cure that.  According to Charlie's past family, he is a happy go lucky dog who just fits in and goes with the flow. Charlie is currently known to be a counter surfer and that is a work in progress.  Charlie has been groomed consistently his whole life and has been well cared for. Story
Barkley and Finley are a very bonded pair of littermates who have lived together their whole lives, (8.5 years old) and they are definitely the BEST OF FRIENDS. You won’t be able to get enough of watching these two play as they have so much fun together and are so fun to be around! Sadly, they are looking for their new home at no fault of their own, and their family says: "Making this decision has been heartbreaking, but it comes from a place of deep care and responsibility. We want them to have the stability, companionship, and attention they deserve. Our hope is to find a home where they can continue to thrive together and be surrounded by consistent love and presence." Barkley (around 70lbs) and Finley (around 60lbs) are housetrained, and have full run of the house when left alone, know basic commands, and are eager to please. And, of course, they are super sweet! They do have that doodle energy, so walks and plenty of exercise and play is what they need. They get along well with other dogs, and we have no information on interactions with cats at this time. They are a bonded and beautiful duo who have a moderate to high activity and they are looking for a home committed to the time they need to exercise and give them all the TLC they can handle. Both dogs love playing in the yard and watching for Squirrels out the windows. Barkley is a teddy bear who loves to cuddle. Finley loves belly rubs. Both dogs enjoy being brushed, which is good because they also enjoy rolling around outside. Story
Milo is a 5 year old, 95ish lb, male Goldendoodle looking for a home with no small kids. Sadly, the dynamics in the family home have changed with 2 small kids, and Milo is not taking well to the situation. His family has made the difficult decision to re-home Milo and they say: "We truly believe Milo would be so much happier in a home where he isn't constantly getting aggravated by children and is getting more attention than I can give him at home during the day. He really is so lovable." Milo is house-trained and has full run of the house when his people are away. "He loves playing fetch with balls and other toys along with playing tug a war with toys. He loves attention and to be played with. I think he needs to be in a home with no young children. He needs to be in a home with people who aren't going to leave him for more than several hours at a time. I am a stay at home mom, so he is with us all the time except when we leave for a few hours at a time and that isn't every day. He is a loyal dog and loves to be petted and loved on. He follows me around all day and waits by the door until I come out. He loves being outside and going for walks. He loves strangers who want to pet him. We have him groomed regularly and boarded by people at the Pet Station Country Club and they all love him. He will lay most of the day now unless someone is engaging with him."  Milo's new family will need to have the time and patience to work with him through his adjustments to his new living arrangements.
