Bella arrived at FairyTails after being surrendered by her owner, who was faced with severe medical issues. Her owner purchased her as a 5 week old puppy and it was the only home Bella knew. She is new to our program, and is understandably is a little fearful and trying to figure out what is going on. She started her new beginning with a much-needed Spaw Day and windy photo shoot! Because of significant matting, Bella had to have a pretty close groom, but don’t worry—her hair still blows beautifully in the wind! Once she’s on a regular grooming schedule and that gorgeous coat grows back in, she is going to be absolutely stunning. Bella is only 16 months old and has a wonderful personality. She is very inquisitive and intelligent. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She enjoys toys and playing fetch and tug of war. She will potty outside, but only close to the house and on hard surfaces. She needs consistent structure and training to bring her to her full potential. She seems to like other dogs as she interacts with her foster siblings. But it is clear that other dogs are a new experience for her because she doesn't have "doggie manners" yet. She is goofy and would likely make a great pet in a family with older children. We are now ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for this beautiful girl, so get yours in—you definitely won’t want to miss your opportunity with Bella! Bingo is a 2 year old, male Goldendoodle that looks VERY Golden! He's about 70lbs, and full of sweetness, fun and play! He is being surrendered to GRRAND as "I am disabled, have medical issues, and I am unable to care for Bingo sufficiently. Additionally, his level of energy, size, and strength are too much for me to handle. He is extremely young/energetic, needs a large outdoor area to exercise." This is a horribly difficult decision for his people, and they are only wanting what is best for Bingo.  Bingo is said to live with a cat (GRRAND has not cat tested him) and gets along with other dogs. He is house-trained but not crate-trained and is trustworthy to have full run of the house when his people are gone. Bingo is a big boy who loves getting love, pets and attention. He would like a family that has the time to devote to him with lots of exercise, direction and love... he is quite the lover/leaner for sure! Charlie got a haircut and says "PICK ME!" See Foster family update below... Charlie is a 7 year old, 65ish lb male Goldendoodle who is being surrendered to GRRAND at no fault of his own. He is looking for a home that has the time and patience to work with him on on socialization and behavior as sadly, he has basically lived his 7 years with no guidance and training.  Charlie is soooo sweet, and gets along with other dogs (German shepherds, dachshunds, etc) and doesn't mind cats. He is crate trained and is in it when he is left alone. He is a handsome, full size Goldendoodle. Charlie has lost 20 pounds and he loves to romp and play, so he would benefit from a fenced in yard or a family committed to giving him the daily exercise he craves. Charlie is in a wonderful foster home and they say: "If you're looking for a doodle full of love, kindness and affection, look no further! Charlie is a 60-pound goldendoodle with soulful eyes and a demeanor which seems to say, "thank you for being my foster family!"  Charlie adapts quickly - he naps with his foster brother Wrigley (an 18-pound Cavalier King Charles), and he delights in playing hide-and-seek with his human foster brother (a 6-year-old boy).  He puts his human foster brother to bed and greets him first thing in the morning!  Did I mention that Charlie gives the BEST hugs ever???  This cutie is great at "reading the room" - he knows when to play and when to be gentle. Charlie loves car rides and sits in the seat like a good-natured human! He also adores golf cart rides - they're his favorite!  He is a well-behaved dream in the grooming salon owned by his foster mamma! Charlie loves everyone he meets, both human and canine and has so much doodle-love to give his forever family!"    According to Charlie's past family, he is a happy go lucky dog who just fits in and goes with the flow. Charlie is currently known to be a counter surfer and that is a work in progress. Charlie has been groomed consistently his whole life and has been well cared for. Milo is a 6 year old, 99 lb, male Goldendoodle looking for a home with no small kids. Sadly, the dynamics in the family home have changed with 2 small kids and he needs a less chaotic environment. His family has made the difficult decision to re-home Milo and they say: "We truly believe Milo would be so much happier in a home where he isn't constantly getting aggravated by children and is getting more attention than I can give him at home during the day. He really is so lovable. Milo would thrive in a home with no young children and with instruction.” “Milo is house-trained and has full run of the house when his people are away. He will lay most of the day now unless someone is engaging with him. He enjoys being outside and has full access to the whole backyard. He loves going for walks. He is a loyal dog. He loves attention and to be petted. I am a stay at home mom, so he is use to being around us most of the day but does well if we do have to leave for 4-5 hours at a time. He loves strangers who want to pet him. We have him groomed regularly by people at the Pet Station Country Club and they all love him. Milo has been trained by a professional trainer and knows basic commands. He is very intelligent but needs direction and clarity.” Milo's new family will need to have the time and patience to work with him through his adjustments to his new living arrangements. Stella (3 year old Goldendoodle weighing about 60 lbs) and her sister Daisy (5 year old Lab mix weighing about 60lbs) are BFF's looking for a home to be adopted into and stay together forever, as their owners passed away and they were taken in by neighbors. They tell us this about the girls: Daisy: walks okay on a leash but needs more practice. Daisy paces and has anxiety during storms. When we first brought the girls into the home, our senior dog did not like them and they would get in tiffs, but since they have been very calm with one another other and don't really interact with her much. When Daisy first arrived, she had a significant flea infestation. Since then, she has been consistently treated with flea/tick prevention and has settled in nicely. She is petite, sweet and after her initial excitement upon meeting someone, she is “chill.” Stella: is a sweet, playful dog with a puppy-like personality who would thrive in a home that can continue working on her training, confidence, and leash skills. She is crate trained, and deeply bonded to Daisy. We are hoping to find a rescue placement that will allow the girls to remain together and continue receiving the love and stability they deserve. Daisy and Stella have become very loved in our home and have made significant progress adjusting to a stable environment. The girls were very skinny when they were first "rescued" and their family has done everything to help get them back to a healthy weight and good health in general. The girls are crated separately during the day on work days and also any errand runs. They consider their crates as “safe zones” during the day and may enter even with the family at home. They have free run when they are home with the dogs. They ALWAYS choose to sleep together in an XL crate every evening. They will need a secure fenced yard as that is considered their "exercise zone". Stella is still young and has plenty of energy to burn. These girls are currently living with the family who rescued them and they have a 3 yr old child that the dogs have done well with.  The dogs have been with this family for a couple of months, but prior to that, they lived with an older couple who passed away. Our volunteer says "This is definitely a bonded pair of very petite dogs that adore and love eachother and can't be separated."
