We just had to post these horrible pictures because this is what all rescues in Kentucky are taking in these days. Everyone wants a doodle but will not pay to have them groomed, which anyone knows that doodles need grooming at least every 6-8 weeks. Tucker was on a chain for over 2 years and it infuriates us because doodles, just like Tucker, are people friendly and love to be with someone. They are actually needy dogs and want to be part of everyday family lives. We got Tucker in Friday, cut burs, sticks and matts out of him and he acted like he was alive again. He was so happy he danced around for hours. Tucker is 3 years old and is housebroke. He has been professionally groomed and ready for his new home in time for the next transport up north on the 15th of May. Tucker is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, heart worm tested (Negative) and on flea/tick/heart worm preventive.

We are looking for a home for this adorable puppy, Gigi! Her breed mix is Golden Retriever x Poodle x Pit Bull and shes about 4 months old. Gigi gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. She will complete her veterinary care (spay, vaccines, microchip) on Thursday 5/14. Our puppy adoption fee is $300. Otherwise, he does not do well with other animals. He loves long walks, and to be anywhere his owner is. He is loving and affectionate. He knows how to sit and give his paw on command. He needs a big fenced in yard to play in or to be walked often. He is a high energy dog. He is shock collar trained.

Gus is a male, 1 year old Goldendoodle puppy at about 67ish lbs, looking for a home where he can be the only dog, with no small kids, and a large fenced in yard to romp and play in and get his energy out. His family will need to be committed to the time he needs for exercise and direction as he is a very high energy dog and needs training on leash walking, and socialization skills around other dogs. Gus needs a home with no small kids because he has no idea how big and strong he is, and will knock them down at no fault of his own. Charlie got a haircut and says "PICK ME!" See Foster family update below... Charlie is a 7 year old, 65ish lb male Goldendoodle who is being surrendered to GRRAND at no fault of his own. He is looking for a home that has the time and patience to work with him on on socialization and behavior as sadly, he has basically lived his 7 years with no guidance and training.  Charlie is soooo sweet, and gets along with other dogs (German shepherds, dachshunds, etc) and doesn't mind cats. He is crate trained and is in it when he is left alone. He is a handsome, full size Goldendoodle. Charlie has lost 20 pounds and he loves to romp and play, so he would benefit from a fenced in yard or a family committed to giving him the daily exercise he craves. Charlie is in a wonderful foster home and they say: "If you're looking for a doodle full of love, kindness and affection, look no further! Charlie is a 60-pound goldendoodle with soulful eyes and a demeanor which seems to say, "thank you for being my foster family!"  Charlie adapts quickly - he naps with his foster brother Wrigley (an 18-pound Cavalier King Charles), and he delights in playing hide-and-seek with his human foster brother (a 6-year-old boy).  He puts his human foster brother to bed and greets him first thing in the morning!  Did I mention that Charlie gives the BEST hugs ever???  This cutie is great at "reading the room" - he knows when to play and when to be gentle. Charlie loves car rides and sits in the seat like a good-natured human! He also adores golf cart rides - they're his favorite!  He is a well-behaved dream in the grooming salon owned by his foster mamma! Charlie loves everyone he meets, both human and canine and has so much doodle-love to give his forever family!"    According to Charlie's past family, he is a happy go lucky dog who just fits in and goes with the flow. Charlie is currently known to be a counter surfer and that is a work in progress. Charlie has been groomed consistently his whole life and has been well cared for.
