Story
Meet Gyda: The Courageous Mother of the Little Vikings Gyda is a beautiful 2-year-old girl and the devoted mother of The Little Vikings litter Astrid, Thora, Sigrid, and Bjorn. Before coming into rescue, Gyda and her puppies were surviving beneath abandoned trailers, doing everything they could to stay alive. During that time, one of her puppies, Thora, became trapped beneath a trailer with wire tightly wrapped around her leg. As the injury became severely infected, Gyda did something extraordinary. In an incredible act of maternal instinct, she carefully chewed through Thoras leg to free her from the wire and continued cleaning the wound until help arrived. Our veterinarian remarked on how remarkably clean the wound was despite the circumstances. Because of Gydas actions, Thora had a chance to survive. Despite everything she has been through, Gyda is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She can be a little unsure in new situations, but she is quick to trust and adapts beautifully once she realizes she is safe. She walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and is doing wonderfully with her potty training. Gyda has already proven just how fiercely she loves. Now its her turn to be the one protected, cherished, and given the safe, loving home shes always deserved. She will make a truly wonderful companion. Story
Channel is a playful all black Goldendoodle. She was rehomed to us 2 years ago when she was just a puppy. We have found that we don’t have a lot of time to spend with her and that is very sad. She is obedient and is very playful. She loves running around the backyard, but she is also very smart and can be mischievous at times. She has figured out how to get out of our back gate. With that information and knowing that we don’t have enough time to spend with her, we would like to rehome her. She will make someone an excellent companion.
