Meet Duke: A Sweet 11-Year-Old Goldendoodle Who Still Thinks He's a Puppy When You Come Home! Duke is a handsome tan Goldendoodle with a loving heart and a joyful spirit. At 11 years old, he's in good health and still greets his family with the excitement of a puppy every time someone walks through the door. Duke loves people and thrives on attention. Whether he's following you around the house, relaxing nearby, or soaking up ear scratches and belly rubs, he wants to be part of the family. His affectionate nature and gentle personality make him a wonderful companion. Duke gets along well with other dogs. We don't have other types of pets, so we can't say how he would do with cats or other animals. He's also an excellent watchdog and will let you know when someone arrives. If a vehicle comes into the driveway or visitors show up, Duke takes his job seriously and announces it with plenty of barking.

Alfie is our 1-year-old mini Goldendoodle (11 lbs) from Doodles of NC. We waited six months with excitement for him and chose the cutest, most energetic puppy in the litter. We'd both always wanted an energetic dog — someone to play and run with after work — and Alfie was exactly that dream. He's neutered, house-trained, and up to date on all vaccinations. In a few words: playful, affectionate, energetic, and people-loving. He's happiest when he's around people, and he brings joy to everyone around him. Then our unexpected newborn arrived and everything changed. With the baby, we can't spend even a minute with Alfie, and he spends most of his day in his crate because we're worried about the newborn's health. Watching him live like that breaks our hearts — that's not the life he deserves. We're looking for an active, loving home with plenty of time for a young, high-energy dog: a family who can play with him, run with him, and make him part of their everyday life.
