History: Scottie has chronic dermatitis with Malassezia (yeast) overgrowth. We are sending Sebozole shampoo to be used twice a week and Ketoconazole tablets to be given by mouth once a day. Scottie does have an ongoing medical issue that needs to be addressed - Chronic Dermatitis with Malassezia overgrowth. This issue will not hold them back from adoption. Please follow up with your regular care veterinarian if adoption is finalized.

Story
Dakota is about a year old and he’s happy and playful. He has a story similar to other doodles where he was purchased as a puppy by a senior citizen and then when he got older and bigger, he became too much. He was given to a family temporarily that had several children and they loved him, but they were never home and decided they didn’t want to keep him so they gave him to another senior lady that had just lost her husband. Unfortunately , he was too much for her also so he ended up in rescue. He’s really not wild. He’s just a puppy and he’s happy and playful. He would be great in an active family with children. He also plays very well with other dogs. Dakota is neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative and micro chipped. He’s very sweet and very smart. When he was with the family, they taught him to sit and wait for his dinner while they said their prayers and then he could eat. Meet Mitzi! Mitzi is a pint-sized Poodle/Shih Tzu mix with the cutest face and a truly playful soul. She is still learning that the world is a safe place, her resilient spirit shines through when she’s zooming around with her toys. She is a "gentle soul" seeking a quiet, patient home where she can blossom at her own pace. Because Mitzi is still finding her "brave," she’s looking for an adopter who celebrates the little wins—like the very first time she asks for a head scratch or masters a new routine. If you have a calm heart and plenty of room for a tiny shadow to grow in confidence, Mitzi is ready to start her happily-ever-after with you! Mitzie is estimated to be 3 years old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Sweet Margo has a story, wish she could tell us about it! Luckily for her, she was rescued and is now enjoying plenty of cuddle time in a warm house. She is learning to trust. She wags her little tail and curls up next to you, accepting belly rubs (as she deserves!). Margo has eye drops daily to help her cataracts. She is house trained and just wants to be loved. Someone is going to be lucky to adopt this lady. Margo is estimated to be 6 years old and under 15 lbs.
