Meet Dolly, a young adult poodle mix with a big heart, big personality, and an even bigger love for people. She came into rescue with a severe neck injury, but after healing up beautifully, she’s fully embraced her new chapter — and you’d truly never guess she had a rough start. Today, Dolly is all joy, wiggles, and “OMG HI!” greetings for everyone she meets. Dolly is an excitable, happy-go-lucky girl who shows her love with bouncy enthusiasm. The best part? Once she gets those initial wiggles out, she settles nicely into a sweet, calm companion who’s content just being near her people. She’s also not destructive in the home — she’s simply the type who wants to be included in whatever you’re doing. She does well with other dogs and is currently fostered with cats, but her playful energy can sometimes turn into a “game,” so she may chase cats for fun. For that reason, she’ll do best with confident, tolerant pets (and humans!) who can roll with her cheerful, spirited style. Dolly is crate trained, smart, and adapts quickly to new routines. She’s the kind of dog who makes your home feel brighter — resilient, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend for life. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will greet every day with optimism (and every person like they’re her favorite), Dolly is ready to meet you. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Story
Maggie is a sweet, loving companion who's favorite thing is simply being around people. We adopted Maggie (age five) in April and have found her to be an incredibly good, loving, and loyal girl. She originally came from a home without other pets or children. While she has been great with our young kids and other dog, we've come to realize that our chaotic home is simply too much for her to thrive. Great on leash, loves fetch. Ok being left alone. Maggie will make an excellent companion dog. We love her and will miss her very much but feel confident she will live her best life in a calmer home. Maggie must go to a calm, routine, adult-only home. She is great with visiting kids or dogs. We must feel completely confident that Maggie is transitioning to a stable, loving environment. This includes an initial visit at our home so you can meet Maggie, followed by a home visit to yours. If you are not comfortable with this process, please do not apply! MN applicants only!

Amelia is a sweet, social, friendly girl. She is currently with her siblings and she loves to play with them. She also loves people and a good snuggle! Amelia is estimated to be 12 weeks old and 13 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
