We resecued Zeek 3 months ago from his original home where he was left to roam the neighborhood and was picked up by the dog pound. My daughter sent a Me a picture a Zeke. And I fell in love with him right away. He was very sick when I first got him, ear infections , worms and got him caught up on all shots. We have a huge fenced in yard.. my husband and I are both retired and thought we would make the perfect home. What we didn’t realize was his size brought a very strong dog. He is well behaved, but we are older and fragile and Zeke needs a family.

Story
We rescued Zeke from a friend who was watching him for his owners and they did not want him. The moved to South Carolina and decided to not bring him. Zeke 7 years old he has more love than any pet we have had. House trained, very smart. Zeke is a larger dog, he is so handsome, my husband and I are older and Zeke is still full of energy. Zeke has been our since July. He has two ear infections, worms and from the little documents we have he was not up on his shots. He now has been to vet and 100% healthy. We are looking a for every home for the sweet little boy!.

I adopted Dexter about six months ago from this site. His owner was having health issues. I have other dogs which he is fine with. He is strong and I cannot walk him because he pulls. He is food, aggressive. And needs to be fed away from other animals. He is very sweet and playful, but is too big for me. I would like to find him a home where he can get exercise and playtime.

Everyone meet Goldie! She’s a 5 year old doodle. Full transparency she will be a flight risk until she earns your trust. She spent 8 1/2 weeks on the run and had to be trapped after getting away from a new person. Shes been back with her foster and is a completely different dog after being back she snuggles, seeks being beside you, jumping on the bed to sleep, even approaching new people that come in the house. Once she earns your trust I do not think she will ever leave your side or be a risk of running but she has to have time to earn your trust. This may take months for her but I know the right person is out there. She requires a patient adopter, fenced yard, and another dog that is welcoming and willing to show her the ropes. She is crate trained, hasn’t had any accidents, and doing well on leash walks with another dog. I know her perfect family is out there. You will never have a dog that loves you as much as she will.

This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm.
