Story
Gordon is a wonderful dog that fell into my lap in 2020. I’m friends with a vet who told me that a couple had rescued a pregnant golden retriever from her previous owner who had passed, and the puppies needed a home. I jumped at the chance and he has been with me when my boys were 1 and 2 and with the birth of my 2 daughters. Gordon is an F1 doodle, so half golden retriever, half standard poodle. Unfortunately, my middle son and my youngest daughter both have asthma and have an allergy to dogs, so we must sadly part ways with our dear Gordon.Gordon is the best dog with kids and loves to cuddle and eat the food off the ground that they drop. He’s very very loyal and is house trained. He does bark, hates cats, and has to warm up to other dogs, but he will lay and chill with you for hours on end happily. I’m hoping to find a home for Gordon that has a fenced in yard, he loves to run. He is not kennel trained, and you’d have to be ready to lock up your garbage can, haha.

Story
Oliver was given to us by a family member who is a breeder in California. He does have another dog in the house they get along well. He is reactive on the leash with other dogs. We have tried several different collar options. He is reactive to noises very anxious does not like thunderstorms or fireworks. He is doing okay with our baby who is three months with supervision but does not do well with other children or people that have tried to enter the home and has had to be separated/blocked off. He knows basic commands (sit, out, shake). He loves attention and cuddles.

Story
Meet Piper Piper is a sweet 70 lb, 9 year old female Golden Doodle. She has lived with other dogs and with children (as young as newborn) and does just fine. She does well on walks and is generally calm. She is spade and up to date on all of her shots and vaccinations. Like all of us, Piper has some preferences and requirements: - She is allergic to dairy, beef and chicken. You’ll know she is having an issue if she licksherself excessively, which will turn parts of her fur orange. We use fish-based dry dog food and that works well. - She doesn’t “do stairs” particularly well - particularly going upstairs if there is a long rise. A few stairs is just fine. It is a long rise that, at least at present, gives her anxiety. She does walks just fine - it is only a long stair rise issue. Our “why” for seeking a new home for Piper: - We moved to a downtown home with stair rises of 15 stairs or greater, indoor and outdoor. - We have multiple trips planned now that we are entering retirement.
