Story
Mello is our 25 pound Goldendoodle who we are sadly having to rehome. We adore him but know that he would thrive in a family without young kids. We have had him for almost two months. Mello is pretty calm most of the time, but also enjoys playing fetch and going on walks. Most of the time, he lies on the couch and will cuddle next to you. Mello stays alone during the day for 6-7 hours and does well. He doesn't destroy anything and sleeps on the couch. We are rehoming him because of his resource guarding. My 3 year old tried to grab a toy he was chewing on, ignored his cues, and bit her hand, which is why we have decided our home is not the best fit. Mello would thrive in a home with no young children because they would not be able to read Mello's dog cues or be consistent in following his boundaries. We have been teaching him to leave it and drop it, and he has been catching on quickly! He currently lives with our other dog, who is smaller than him, and they get along well.

Story
Dolly is 2 1/2, has been through puppy training, level 2 training, and went to a board and train program for behavior a few months ago. She is extremely intelligent and with our immediate family members she is very sweet and affectionate, but she does NOT like children. She is aggressive towards adults when on walks at first but will warm up. She loves going to be groomed and has not been aggressive towards groomers or at the vet. However over the last couple years she has become constantly more aggressive to our animals. We have had to separate her from the other animals, she bit our other dog and injured his leg a month ago. Keeping her separated from our other animals means she is spending increased time in her crate and is showing signs of depression. It’s an incredibly difficult choice to find her a new home, she has so much love in her, but keeping our children and other animals safe needs to be our priority. She is SO good in SO many ways, she just needs the right home.
