Story
Indy is a male golden doodle who joined our family when he was 9 weeks old. He is now 2 years old, and weighs 34 pounds. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Unfortunately, Indy has a lot of anxiety around young children. Their running, shouting, and playing causes him to overreact. We have done a 3 week board and train and are currently doing in home training. Indy is crate trained and loves going in his crate to nap and spends the entire night in there without complaint. He is also cot trained with a “place” command. He loves going on walks and has been trained to not pull on his leash. He loves being around adults, he’s very affectionate and happy at home until school gets out and our children come home. He has never bitten anyone, but he growls at the children when he gets worked up. Indy would thrive in a home with teenage children or no children at all. Despite being sad to say goodbye, we want him to be in a good home where he feels comfortable.

Animal Information:  Lila is a 1-year-old Lab/Labradoodle mix who came to us as an emergency intake. Her owner was fleeing a domestic violence situation and sadly could not bring Lila with them. Lila has been very loved and well cared for her whole life, and we promised her family that we would find her a wonderful home. Lila is a happy, social girl who loves everyone she meets. She went to doggy daycare regularly and does great with both small and large dogs. She also lived with two children under 7 and absolutely loved them. She is crate trained, house trained, loves car rides, and knows basic obedience. She does need some work on her leash manners because she likes to pull, but she is young and eager to learn. She is also learning not to jump, but approaches everything in life with 12 out of 10 enthusiasm. Lila has the softest ears, the sweetest face, and such a loving personality. She is a really special girl who deserves a family of her own. We know the right home is out there for her, and we can't wait to see her find it.  Foster Profile: This happy hurricane is doing great in foster care with a trainer. Lila is looking for an active home interested in continuing her training so she can be the best version of herself. She loves adventures, car rides, and playing with her furry friends. Lila is no couch potato, and needs to have her body and brain exercised every day. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash with a training collar, and has good basic obedience skills. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well.
