Story
Charlie, 8 mo old, has been with me for one month. His first home was 2 working parents and 3 young children. They loved him but did not have time to exercise or train him. Charlie loves people, plays well with dogs at the dog park, loves to be petted and given attention. He sleeps well in his crate. Turns out Charlie is too much for me too. I love him and our trainer thinks he is a great little dog, 32 lbs, who never learned manners and limits. Charlie is not an aggressive biter, but he bites in "play" which is inappropriate and needs to stop. Suspect it's a learned behavior from roughhousing with kids. Charlie is also not reliably potty trained. Charlie is very sweet but he needs an experienced person who can set limits as he thinks he is running the show. Charlie is very smart and we have made good progress, but I simply do not have the stamina to go the course with him. I am several years retired. He deserves competent, loving training so he can become his very best self.

Doodle rescue looking for his forever family in Western Washington Lucky was left behind when his family moved to China. He spent his days tied outside in Mexico until someone rescued him from that life. Today he is trained, sweet and completely ready for an active family who is home often and understands doodles. Little resource guarding — nothing of concern. Gets along with mellow dogs. Loves people. 🤍 Currently in Mexico — Western Washington adoptions only. Story
Ginger is housed trained, potty trained, and knows her basic commands. Like sit, come, down, and paw. I just got her shots updated, around May 20th. She had a very physical exam, which showed she is healthy!Ginger’s owner passed away last summer, so I’ve been taking care of her with another 2 other dogs, which has been hard.I recommend Ginger had a home with a yard or an active owner! She loves to lay and run in the sun! Ginger is very sweet and she loves pets. She will literally paw you for pets, haha. She’s a quick learner, and very food motivated. She’s pretty hyper but she’s able to sit down and chill! She does require some patience, only when taking her out to meet other dogs. She loves humans, but she’s pretty barky with other dogs when she feels unsure. She has gone to dog parks, so she is friendly! She needs time to calm herself and then she’ll play with other dogs. I’m not sure she’s friendly with cats, but when I took her to the vet, she saw a cat and was pretty chill!

Story
Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Max Max is a 10-month-old Standard Poodle boy, weighing about 35 lbs, with a striking white coat, long legs, and a bright, intelligent expression that hints at just how special he is. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where his future was uncertain and time was running out. Despite that rough start, Max is resilient, curious, and ready to experience the life every young dog deserves — one filled with learning, love, and adventure. Still very much a puppy, Max is at an age where training, bonding, and exploration are part of everyday life. He’s eager to grow into a confident companion and is looking for a home that will guide him, engage his clever mind, and include him in family life. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Max’s adoption fee is $1,995, a non-refundable donation that helps support lifesaving rescue efforts. It includes: Neuter Vaccinations Microchip Boarding and daily care Health certificate Transport from South Korea to Seattle &#226&#156&#136&#239&#184&#143 A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption makes it possible to save another life. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Max the future he so clearly deserves.March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm
