Story
Bruce is a very smart and lovable dog. He is 2 years old. He is crate trained and potty trained. He is just a big lap baby. Very playful with his toys. Not aggressive at all. Very quiet only barks if a strange person comes in the yard. Loves to cuddle and play. Wish I could keep him but landlord space not acceptable for a large dog.

Story
Eris is my 7 year old Great Dane. She was born December 3,2016. Truly an angel that’s very mild mannered and considerate. She’s very gentle, good with children, and other small animals/other dogs. She was personally trained by me since I got her at 7 weeks old. She is happiest being right under her person as she can be a nervous Nancy. She is shy at first but does warm up once she becomes comfortable. She is UTD on her vaccinations, spayed, and had a stomach tack done at the time of her spay. She has always been pretty healthy no issues but can be a picky eater at times.

Story
Meet Sunshine Louise! This beautiful Anatolian Shepard/Great Pyrenees mix is super sweet and wants to be your best friend. She currently weights about 90 lbs. She is house trained (she will ring bells on the back door to go outside). She is very well behaved and does not require a crate indoors. Sunshine is a very, very laid back girl….until she feels the need to guard her home. We are unsure of her age, but the guess is around 6 years old. She is smart and very treat motivated. She loves to go on walks especially first thing in the morning and after the sun goes down. She LOVES people and kids! She is good with other dogs as long as they respect her boundaries. She easily integrates into a pack, but remains kind of a loner. She is spayed, (after having 10 puppies), microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. She has also completed Heart Worm treatment. Sunshine loves belly rubs and pets. She will look lovingly and longingly into your eyes like she knows that her life has been saved and she is so very grateful. She is a very calm girl who prefers to lay on the cool floor. She is a “guardian” breed and will quietly take up a position (usually in a doorway) and just relax. She knows basic commands but does have a stubborn streak. Usually a treat will encourage her to follow your directions. Sunshine does have a high prey drive, so no cats or tiny toy breeds please. She also has a history of fence jumping to pursue wildlife, so a privacy fence would be ideal. If you would like to meet this precious girl and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Sunshine is located in North Alabama with transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
