Story
Introducing the perfect pup for BIG dog lovers, Lincoln! Lincoln is a 5 month old, 40lb lab/great Dane mix that was saved from imminent euthanasia after being dumped out on the street by his “owners” 😢 but two of our fosters saw him and his brother and knew their lives were worth saving. We are so glad we did! Lincoln is big, snuggly, happy, and GOOFY. He is already almost fully potty trained, knows how to use a doggie door, gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and is learning how to interact with kitty cats. Lincoln is social and takes corrections well, which is good, because he’s a big goof and doesn’t quite realize his size. He is working on his leash manners and managing his excitement when he sees other dogs while on leash, so he will need a patient human that will work with him! Lincoln loves everyone he meets, big or small, and wants to play play play! He currently lives with a crawling infant & he has learned quickly how to be gentle around him. This handsome big boy needs a family familiar with large dog breeds, ideally with a big yard and/or active family that can meet his exercise needs. After a good romp in the yard or long walk, he is the nap king and wants all the snuggles. Is Linc the big boy you’ve been looking for? He’s ready to meet his forever family! If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
I adopted Blu from a Hollee’s Danes in Centre, AL! He is AKC registered and comes with all paperwork. He is a 4yo Great Dane and weighs about 140lbs. He’s had obedience training and is a very good dog. He has been in the house with a Yorkie and does well with him. Blu has not been acquainted much with many other dogs outside of that. He loves to play and run. He’s a BIG BABY. Loves to snuggle and sit in your lap. Unfortunately, I have to rehome him due to having a toddler a toddler now and also experiencing health issues with my mother and father in-law that calls for one of them to have a caregiver. I wish the circumstances were much different , but I’m committed to finding the perfect home for Blu. He loves kids and does well with him. He just doesn’t realize his size and in turn has made it diffuse for us with having him around our walking 1yo. Blu has not had his yearly shots this year that’s why I selected no. We are willing to assist w/.

Story
This sweet dog is an owner surrender. The current family could not afford to keep him and found it difficult to feed him. We naturally offered to help but they were also having to move which new home would not allow dogs. Especially a big one! Opie is an easy dog, very sweet , easy disposition ! He is a mix of lab and Dane. He is happy in nature and will be a great dog for any family. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com
