Story
Hi, my name is Chi Chi! I am a 1 year old, spayed, Great Dane mix who currently weighs about 70lbs, but I am still growing! I am a very active and friendly girl that's still learning about this great, big world! I am outgoing, vocal, and love to be with my people friends. I am still working on my manners and social skills, so I am looking for an experienced owner with kids 10+ to help me learn to be my best self. If you have any resident dogs, I'd like to meet them before adoption. If I sound like the pup for you, please come in to meet me today! Ask for Chi Chi ID# A959681 I got to hang out with a staff member for a day, and this is what they had to say: Chi Chi is such a joy to hang with! She is very excited and jumps a bit when you first come in to see her which can be a bit tough since she is so big, but she responds very well to calm energy and hugs. She is so playful in the yard, she loves to get her zoomies out and play with toys. I enjoy walking her, she is curious and just a happy girl. She's also very loving and really enjoys hugs and snuggles.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hi there! My name is Ted and I'm a 1 year old, neutered Great Dane mix who weights about 80 pounds. I'm a super sweet, and outgoing boy who loves to play. I'm great with other dogs, so If you have a dog in your life and you are looking for a companion to join your pack, I might be the dog for you! I'm very silly and affectionate. I'm hoping for a family that is familiar with extra large boys like me and is prepared to make space for me on the couch for LX cuddles! If you're looking for a great big love bug, just ask Customer Service about Ted ID#A957155  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Weight ~ 52 lbs**Adoption Fee sponsored by Loren Morse, Realtor**This is Rooster. And his ears rule the roost. He`s a regal, tall, slender, and athletic 2-year-old mutt mosaic. At just over 50 pounds, behold a beautiful mix of breeds that we can only guess. In his previous home, he completed obedience training and was very quick to learn new things. He mastered basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, off, out, heel, come, and paw. He`s also crate trained (he loves it), and potty trained. Rooster is super sweet, loving, and very loyal to his people -- and has made many friends with our staff and volunteers. He`s also made a few dog friends here at the shelter and is a regular participant in our playgroup program with dogs of his size or larger. That said, we`ve heard he can be a little TOO interested in cats and smaller animals. We also recommend a home without small kids (older teenage kiddos might be okay). Doesn`t he sound like a wonderful dog? It`s because he is! If you`d like to meet Rooster, please call the Adoptions desk or visit the shelter Tue-Sun 11-5.

Who has 4 paws and is a good boy? Guinness!! This guy is looking for his forever family to enjoy life with as much as he does. Its impossible to not smile when you see those big ears and happy face come running to you! Guinness doesn't just love people he loves making new friends with every dog he meets. (No cats for this boy, though!) He is a social butterfly. This boy is happy, loving, energetic, and always ready for a play date or an adventure. Turn in an application today and come get one of Guinness hugs. A volunteer had this to say, "Guinness is a very sweet boy who is not fully aware of his size and strength. He needs a little training to learn not to jump up and/or pull on his leash, but at heart is a goofball gentle giant."
