Story
Reina was rehomed to us in early December. She was malnourished, uncared for and had behavioral issues. We were told she was trained, great with kids, other dogs and cats and healthy. She was not healthy, full of infections, not up to date on her vaccines and she has severe issues with resource guarding. We sent her to KORU K 9 for 5 weeks. She bit my daughter twice, and my husband once requiring stitches. She just came back from school and resource guarded food and bit my husband again. She is a very sweet girl who was unfortunately abused and we were not given the entire story. 8,000.00 later it is still unsafe for my 6 year old to have Reina with us. We have to re home her as soon as possible, or we will have to put her down.

Story
Meet Aaliyah! She's a 7-8 year old great dane. This big girl will charm you right away with her sweet demeanor. Everyone wants to pet her and she loves the body contact. She is so grateful getting attention and food. Don’t let those sad looking eyes fool you, she is full of joy and affection. She would make an amazing therapy dog. Small kids take her on neighborhood walks and can hand feed treats to this gentle girl. She is approaching being a senior but seems to be acting younger by the day. She loves to race her foster kids when they run. Anyone would be lucky to have her. She seems to get along with dogs but would be fine as an only dog getting all the love. She is house trained and doesn’t even drool but you can’t leave yummy things where she can reach them (and her reach is high). If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
These pups were born in rescue.  They have been cared for since birth.  Their mama Poppy has been the best mama ever.  The pups have been exposed to children, cats, and dogs. Please research the breed prior to filling out and adoption application. XL Puppy: up to 1 yr $550.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application! We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering ##1994224##

Story
Meet Slate, your 15-month-old cuddle bug! Weighing in at 70 lbs, the smallest great Dane ever! Slate's energy level is low, making her the perfect snuggle buddy. Although she may be shy at first, Slate is incredibly affectionate once she warms up to you.  She's a pro at car rides and vet visits, and her favorite pastime? Curling up in any available chair. Slate's number one favorite thing is her person, closely followed by food or treats. With mild verbal corrections and a food-motivated drive, Slate is mastering commands like sit, down, and house (going into her crate). Currently working on stay, recall, and drop it, Slate is eager to learn and become the perfect companion for a family! She is dog friendly and would love fur siblings. ##2009369##

Story
Lilah is a beautiful Great Dane. She was born in August of 2022. She is extremely affectionate and wants to curl up in your lap! She is currently a little over 100 pounds. She was an outdoor dog but loves coming into the office to visit us. We want her to be able to be in an environment where she can be with her family more and be inside at night and in hot or very cold weather. Great Danes are very sensitive dogs and really thrive when able to be with their family. She will need to learn house manners, but she is a smart girl and can learn quickly. Loves to play but doesn't know her own size yet. Lilah does seem to be dog reactive, so we will need her to be single pet only. She will make a great pet for someone! $350.00 will help us with the cost of her spay, microchipping and vaccinations. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
