Story
Meet Everest!Everest is a 64lb, 2-year-old, Great Dane mix who came to the shelter as a stray, but he`s ready to find a home where he can start his next adventure! This handsome guy loves to follow his nose and explore the world around him, making every walk an exciting expedition.Everest is dog-friendly and walked wonderfully on leash during his outing. He`s the perfect mix of laid-back and playful—happy to relax and enjoy some quiet time, then suddenly burst into a case of the zoomies that will have you laughing in no time. With his goofy personality and silly antics, Everest is a total `silly goose` who loves to keep life fun. Story
Meet Shadow! ??Shadow is a 2-year-old, 67-pound Great Dane mix who may be a big boy, but his heart is just as big! This sweet and goofy guy has a lovable personality that is sure to make you smile. Shadow came to us as a stray, so unfortunately, we don`t know much about his history or what his life was like before arriving at the shelter. Because of this, we are still learning about him and don`t know how he has done with other animals. He does show curiosity toward the other dogs he sees around the shelter, so we think he may be interested in making some four-legged friends, but any introductions would need to be done carefully and at his pace.Shadow is happiest when he gets to spend time exploring the world around him. He enjoys going for walks and taking plenty of time to stop and sniff all the interesting smells along the way. He has that classic goofy, lovable quality that makes you want to spend more time with him and get to know his personality. With his gentle nature and fun-loving spirit, Shadow has so much potential to be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a larger-than-life best friend. ??If you have room in your heart and home for a big, sweet, goofy boy, come meet Shadow and see if he could be the one you`ve been looking for!We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please use the link below to fill out the application. Story
Hi, I'm Falcor! I'm a friendly, well-mannered gentleman looking for a family to call my own. I love meeting people and making new friends wherever I go. With my sweet personality and easygoing nature, I'm always happy to spend time with my favorite humans. I enjoy going for walks and exploring the world by your side. I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but overall I walk well and enjoy getting out for some fresh air and adventure. Whether we're taking a stroll, relaxing at home, or just enjoying each other's company, I'm happiest when I'm with the people I love. If you're looking for a kind, loving companion with plenty of affection to give, I might be the perfect gentleman for you! I can't wait to find my forever family.

Story
Harry is a big, lovable derpy dog who loves everyone he meets. Harry is about 85% potty trained and he’s 100% lapdog. He doesn't know how big he is, and wears his love on the outside. He is certainly a very happy dog if he has room to move. No fault of his own, Harry has been bounced around from home to home and did a couple tours of the city shelter when we stepped in and decided to give him a chance. Harry has had very little structure in his young life and he most likely missed the window of development when dogs learn to read other dogs. So, while he absolutely loves other dogs, he has no idea how to read body language. Because of this, Harry will need slow introductions and a tolerant dog friend to set him up for success when meeting other dogs. Harry has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he gets to go most places with his people or his people are home a lot. Harry also has no idea that he’s an 95 lb dog with more weight to put on. Because of Harry's large size and inability to read personal space, he would do better with a stronger person of stature. Harry thinks he is still a puppy and can easily be unpredictable with his joy. He's basically a lovable-wrecking ball in dog form. Harry has the stubbornness of a mastiff. If he doesn't want to do something he either plays "catch the mastiff" or "dead mastiff." Both can be frustrating, but also funny if you like that kind of thing. Most of what Harry is trying to avoid is being alone. You absolutely will not find a dog with a bigger heart than Harry. But I’m not gonna lie, he is A LOT. He’s got some baggage from being bounced around. He needs structure, patience, and time. And, of course, lots of love. Are you Harry’s person? Fill out an adoption application on our website, Sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org and we will set up a time to talk about him! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy

Story
Bundy was thought to have been euthanized in a high kill shelter but they missed him! We saved him because the next time they weren't going to miss him. They needed the space, that's all. A death sentence for doing nothing wrong but not having a home. Will you be the one to give him his forever home? He is food-motivated so good for training! He does get stressed in new environments and will need time to decompress. He’s a happy boy who loves belly rubs. He is dog friendly, but again, will need time to decompress. He loves his person!
