Story
Meet Pita! You may recognize this girl from earlier in the year. She came to us with Chip, her brother and they were both skin and bones. Thankfully Pitas incredible foster mom has worked SO hard to get her back to health and looking like a whole new girl!! Pita is a social girl who gets along with other dogs and people. Shes goofy and sweet in true Great Dane fashion. She is now potty trained, and while she is still learning to love her crate, she generally only needs it when she’s home alone. Pita loves going for walks, and will find a stick to carry with her the whole way, no matter how long. She is a giant puppy when she’s plays, so sometimes her zoomies can be dangerous if you are in the way. She’s a bit too rambunctious at times for young children. Pita is around a year old and 80lbs. She is spayed, gastropexied, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and current on flea/ heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. To apply for Pita, head to farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Meet Chip! This handsome chocolatey boy is just about as sweet as they get! Chip is a snuggly lovebug who wants to be near his person. Chip is a happy Great Dane who enjoys other dogs, children, and snacks. He came to us severely underweight, and has been spending time in his foster home trying to regain the weight and muscle he lost in His previous home. He is doing well with crate training, potty training, and is working on manners. He would do great in a home with other dogs or as the only dog. He is a good boy who would love a home! Chip will be neutered, gastropexied, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. He is currently around 100lbs but anticipate he will be around 120 as an adult at a healthy weight. He is 1 year old. Chips adoption fee is $400. To adopt, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Meet Draco! At 3 years old and 102 pounds, Draco is a gentle giant with a story that tugs at the heart. This Great Dane/American Bulldog mix came to us a little battered—his body marked by old wounds and pressure sores, and his world a bit quieter than most. You see, Draco is deaf. But don’t feel sorry for him—Draco doesn’t want pity. He wants a soft bed, kind hands, and someone to finally see him for the sweet soul he is. Despite the chaos of the shelter and the challenges that come with being deaf, Draco has remained calm, friendly, and resilient. He enjoys quiet moments with staff and is starting to show his playful, goofy side—especially when toys are involved. He’s laid-back, good-natured, and truly just wants a safe place to land and someone patient enough to understand his needs.Draco may not hear your voice, but he’ll feel your love. Could he be your quiet shadow and loyal companion? We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
