Maya is 6 yrs old and weigh about 45lbs. She is a Heinz 57 and her foster Mom thinks she's a lab/great dane/greyhound mix.  Maya was recently returned back to HSAR .  She is sad and missing her family.  Are you willing to take this beautiful senior into your home?  Maya is crate trained and house broken. She is a little picky on her dog friends and prefer no small dogs or cats. Maya very is shy and timid of new things and people. It will take her some time to get used to a new home. Due to this a calm household with no small children would be ideal.     Maya deserves to have a place to call home and one that will never leave her again.. could it be yours?  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older) and microchipped. We do not ship or transport. A dog's adoption donation is $100. There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards. LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY. The good.....He is kennel trained. Goes in very easily with treats. Will run right in if a treat is thrown in there. Will bark for a few minutes but settles. If he’s in a crate, in a room alone and he hears a lot of commotion, he will bark. If you’ve left and the house is quiet, he’s quiet. He’s great in the kennel if someone is in the same room with him though. He likes being with his people. He happily snoozes in an open kennel during the day if you’re working from home and the kennel is near your work area.Scooby is a goof! There’s not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. Treats are serious business! He will do just about anything for a treat. Even stuff he really doesn’t want to do. But treats are life. He’s overall an easy dog that is sweet, happy, cuddly and isn’t overly energetic. He loves playing and is a bulldozer but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He doesn’t require mass amounts of exercise. He is more than happy to lounge around in bed and watch tv with his humans. The bad...He snores. It’s not quiet...He hates small dogs, if your neighbor has one he will make it his lifes mission to eradicate it. He is generally good on a leash until aforementioned small dog walks up, then he will happily chill with you while you recover from your rotator cuff repair.
