Stanley is a solid giant with a heart of gold. Stanley is a 2 year old Great Dane/American Bulldog Mix. Weighing in at 95lbs of pure muscle he is extremely powerful and will need an experienced adopter with enough space to provide this amount of dog! Stanley was surrendered to our center when his former guardians could no longer keep him in their apartment due to his large size. Stanley enjoys wrestle play with another one of our large resident dogs, Ollie. He very well may do good in a home with another large dog. Stanley loves people and is eager to please his human companions and friends. Stanley does well on walks and will need an adopter who is willing to put in the time and commitment for training and guiding this massive love bug. Stanley is high energy and would be best suited in a home with a large, fenced in yard with plenty of room for Stanley to run and play at his leisure. Stevie is such a lover girl! Stevie is estimated to be about 2-3 years old and a Great Dane mix weighing at 85 lbs. Yes, all 85 lbs is filled with love and ready for her forever. She is doing so well in her foster home however like all the dogs in our care, we are so excited for them to find their forever home that can continue providing all the love, patience, and training that they need. Things to note about Stevie: - She does good in her crate! She does however get excited for her people to come home so she’ll bark a bit when someone walks into the house. - She is potty trained! No accidents for this big girl. (We always note that there might be a transition period when going to their new home that involves a new environment, smells, and schedule). - As you can tell in her photo she does have a Microopthalmia. It does not bother her, or stop her from being a regular dog so don’t let it stop you from falling in love with her! - She is fairly nervous on the leash. She seems to have not had a lot of experience with it prior to coming into our care so though it is being worked on a yard with a home is preferred while she is gaining confidence! - She does get a little nervous with other dogs around her toys, again a lack of confidence that we are working through but we want her forever home to be aware of it so she continues to improve or is given her proper space. Stevie’s adoption fee includes her spay, pexy, heartworm test (negative) up to date vaccines and preventatives, and microchip. After days of earring her trust, the amazing animal officers were able to secure this darling girl. Even through what she has been through, she has chosen to forgive. She is gentle, sweet, and has the most enduring eyes. She would love a home where she can hang with other animals or a family of her own. She has never offered any bad behaviors, is kennel trained, and has a great temperament. She is estimated to be five and has a long and healthy life ahead of her with proper care.
