Our lovely three year old Great Dane, Moose, answers to many names of Moose, Moosey, and Lucy from the phrase loosey-goosey because he’s more limbs than body sometimes. He tends to be a clumsy goober, especially when treats and a fun game of tug of war is involved. He loves playing with those huge rope toys, and his favorite pastime is definitely being outside digging and exploring. We unfortunately have to find a new home for him due to us moving. We really don’t want to lose our dog to the last choice of a shelter so hopefully we find the perfect family for him here! He is neutered and has a harness, leash, crate and muzzle included. Ember was a rescue we took in when she was about 6 months old and very under weight after vet care and good diet she has become such a sweet girl. It breaks our heart to have to rehome due to a recent medical diagnosis with my wife that is taking much of the attention away from ember and has made it very difficult for my wife to keep up with the needs of ember. She is a sweet dog does well with both large breed dogs and small breed dogs loves people of all ages and loves to snuggle.

This happy little guy seems to wake up every morning convinced it's going to be the best day ever. By the time you've spent five minutes with him, you'll probably feel the same way. Between his floppy ears that bounce with every happy trot, his goofy puppy antics, and his excitement over absolutely everything, Flame has a way of making even ordinary days feel a little brighter. He lives in a loving foster home with kids and other dogs and he really is a wonderful puppy ready to join your family! His foster family is guessing part Dane because of his long legs, big feet, and goofy demeanor. Whatever breeds came together to create this handsome boy, they gave him the sweetest personality, the cutest floppy ears, and the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and laid-back cuddles. Flame is everything you'd hope for in a puppy. He's friendly, social, curious, and always excited to make a new friend. He approaches life with so much enthusiasm that it's hard not to smile watching him explore the world around him. Whether he's trotting around with one of his favorite toys, investigating something new, or simply soaking up all the attention he can get, Flame is happiest when he's included in the fun. Speaking of toys... this boy loves them! He enjoys chasing after toys, proudly carrying them around, and playing a good game of tug-of-war. He's still working on the whole "bring it back" part of fetch, but he certainly has the chasing part mastered. Once playtime is over, though, Flame is more than happy to settle down for some affection. He's a sweet, loving puppy who enjoys being close to his people and has a wonderful off-switch after he's gotten his puppy energy out. Flame is currently fostered in a home with two precious little girls and other dogs, and he's fitting right in. In fact, one of his favorite places to be is snuggled up in the girls' arms, soaking up all the love and attention they have to give. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him a joy to have around, and he loves being part of whatever his family is doing. He's already crate trained and generally does very well in his kennel. Potty training has also been off to a great start, and he's been learning where the appropriate potty places are. Like any young puppy, he'll likely need a little reminder once he arrives in a brand-new environment, but with consistency, patience, and routine, we expect him to continue making great progress. Flame is also a smart little guy who already knows how to sit and takes treats so gently from your hand. He's eager to learn, loves his treats, and has all the makings of a puppy who will enjoy continuing his training with his forever family. Like all puppies, Flame will need continued socialization, training, and guidance as he grows into adulthood. The time and love you invest in him now will help shape him into the incredible companion he's already well on his way to becoming. Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.
