Meet Rue!! 💖 She just came to us recently and what we can tell so far is she is an absolute love of a dog. She is about 1 years old, a Great Dane/Catahoula leopard mix, spayed, UTD on shots, and ready to find her people. She has a very high prey drive so NO CATS for her. Also highly recommend a fenced in yard or electric fence set up for her as she will chase birds, bunnies, etc. She seems to tolerate other dogs but as always if interested a meet and greet is required to ensure it's a good match. Older kids would be ideal for her as she is still young and working on her manners and is jumpy. Breed experience is preferred as this is also another breed that research should be done as they have specific needs to ensure a healthy long life. Come meet her Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm

MEET Angel!Angel is an 8 month old Great Dane-Lab mix! She still has her puppy energy and is ready to play and run as much as she can. She loves her squeaker toys and will give paw for a treat. Angel is working on her leash manners, as she can pull a bit hard on leash (especially when she wants to say hi to dog friends going by)! She is looking for an active home with teens or older, as she doesn`t always recognize her size. Angel lives up to her name, even though she likes to cause a bit of michief too.Angel is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Angel or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

She is s a loving dog. She loves head scratches and running outside just like any other dog. She is a big breed and needs a lot of love, attention and training. She deserves a home that has time for her to grow and prosper. She was born some time in December ‘24 I’ve had her since March ‘25. She is still a puppy with a big heart. I have a busy schedule and she needs more time than I have for her right now. I moved, so I’ve had to work more to make ends meet. She deserves the whole world. She still has trouble making it outside on time to use the bathroom. She has accidents in her cage, but has been improving slowly. She gets along with other dogs, she is very playful. She gets along with my house cat. She’s just recently finding her “voice”. She’s now due for her rabies shot after a year. If anyone can provide the space, time, financial stability and training she needs please reach out. She needs a lot of help I haven’t been able to provide properly. Thank you.
