I’m Duke, and yes… I’m a BIG boy with a BIG heart to match 💕 I came into a shelter in Tennessee weighing a solid 77 lbs and was dealing with cuts, infections, and a rough past. That chapter is CLOSED 📖❌ and I’m officially free, healed, and ready for a brand‑new life! Now let’s talk about the real me 😄👇I am SUPER friendly and love everyone I meet—especially humans and older kids 🐾👨‍👩‍👧 I also have a blast pouncing around the play yard with my dog friends like a clumsy, lovable tank 🐕💨Because I’m basically a mini horse disguised as a dog, I’ll need a big backyard where I can stretch my legs, zoom around, and enjoy life 🌳☀️ When I’m not galloping around, you’ll find me:😎 Laying in the sun🧸 Playing with my toys🦴 Devouring treats like they’re the best invention ever (because they are)🥰 Giving love-bug vibes nonstopOne of my favorite things? CAR RIDES!! 🚗💨Picture this: me, head out the window, ears flapping dramatically, drool flying everywhere like a badge of honor 😂 Yep. That’s Duke.I am done looking back at the terrible life I had before. From here on out, I’m all about fun, love, laughter, and making memories 💙 I promise to give my future family endless affection, loyalty, and daily laughs with my goofy tactics.I deserve the very best family, and in return, I’ll give you:✅ A loving dog✅ A goofy best friend✅ A ride‑or‑die adventure buddy✅ And maybe… a mini horse (LOL just kidding 😆)🐾 Apply for Duke today and bring home the love of a lifetime!Fun, laughter, and slobbery car rides included 💙🐶If interested in Duke, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, includingRabies, DHLPPBordetella (Kennel Cough)Heartworm TestFecal Test, DewormingMicrochipFlea and Tick PreventionHeartworm Prevention.Spay/NeuterAll dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. Story
She is s a loving dog. She loves head scratches and running outside just like any other dog. She is a big breed and needs a lot of love, attention and training. She deserves a home that has time for her to grow and prosper. She was born some time in December ‘24 I’ve had her since March ‘25. She is still a puppy with a big heart. I have a busy schedule and she needs more time than I have for her right now. I moved, so I’ve had to work more to make ends meet. She deserves the whole world. She still has trouble making it outside on time to use the bathroom. She has accidents in her cage, but has been improving slowly. She gets along with other dogs, she is very playful. She gets along with my house cat. She’s just recently finding her “voice”. She’s now due for her rabies shot after a year. If anyone can provide the space, time, financial stability and training she needs please reach out.

Story
Hello Future Family!! My name is DESIREE and I am a lovable 4 year old AKC registered Great Dane. I came into the rescue a very skinny girl but I have filled out nicely with the wonderful meals I have received. I am looking for my forever family - my foster parents love me but they said they have many doggies that need their help too. I love affection and laps, stuffed toys and my Nyla bones. I don't hate other dogs but my foster mom said I would be best as an only dog because I get jealous - sorry we all have our hang-ups. I am crate trained, house trained and extremely loving. Please send an email to my foster mom @ Sbanimalrescue@yahoo.com and tell her you have a soft spot for a big mush like me - I am waiting for you. Applications can be found on our website www.starbrightanimalrescue.org or please e-mail sbanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an application for DESIREE. We try to respond to ALL inquiries so, please check your junk mailbox if, you're waiting to hear from us.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.️~️~️ CELESTE ️~️~️ We have tons more pictures of her, email us and we'll send them to you! Looking into her clear, crystal blue eyes, feels like being in Bora Bora. The water there is shallow, but Celeste is not shallow at all. She is thoughtful and receptive. When she looks into your eyes, you see her pondering your thoughts, wondering what’s going through your mind. Searching for your Love and acceptance. We don’t know all that she’s been through, but one can bet she’s had her heart broken at least once. She is all the things. A stunning beauty, heartwarmingly affectionate, and playfully mischievous in the most innocent way. She follows some basic commands such as “sit”, is house trained, and very food motivated. We believe her to be a Great Dane mix, with possibly a dash of Mastiff and maybe some Catahoula thrown in there. At about 80 lbs and just over a year old, she could still grow some. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. ** Reduced adoption fee for the month of April. ** Located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
