Tracker may have been found roaming rural Oklahoma, but these days, his favorite destination might just be the couch beside you. This Great Dane mix has a calm, gentle nature and loves people, including children.
Tracker is making progress with his leash skills and reliably heads out of his kennel to do his business. He also plays well with other dogs and has a beautiful howl that’s sure to make an impression.
If your ideal companion is less wilderness explorer and more professional sofa snuggler, Tracker could be your guy. He’s ready to settle in, lean into the good life, and maybe serenade you with that signature howl.

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
