LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY. The good.....He is kennel trained. Goes in very easily with treats. Will run right in if a treat is thrown in there. Will bark for a few minutes but settles. If he’s in a crate, in a room alone and he hears a lot of commotion, he will bark. If you’ve left and the house is quiet, he’s quiet. He’s great in the kennel if someone is in the same room with him though. He likes being with his people. He happily snoozes in an open kennel during the day if you’re working from home and the kennel is near your work area.Scooby is a goof! There’s not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. Treats are serious business! He will do just about anything for a treat. Even stuff he really doesn’t want to do. But treats are life. He’s overall an easy dog that is sweet, happy, cuddly and isn’t overly energetic. He loves playing and is a bulldozer but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He doesn’t require mass amounts of exercise. He is more than happy to lounge around in bed and watch tv with his humans. The bad...He snores. It’s not quiet...He hates small dogs, if your neighbor has one he will make it his life"s mission to eradicate it. He is generally good on a leash until aforementioned small dog walks up, then he will happily chill with you while you recover from your rotator cuff repair. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Sully is a tall, lanky, sweet fella who loves to play with other dogs. He has a great time at the dog park! He walks well on a leash and is good in the car, although he hasn't mastered the art of jumping into the car without help. He is housebroken and rings a bell to go out. He loves to be outside. A tall wooden fence would be best to allow him his outdoor time whenever he wants - he can climb a chain-link fence. Sully is crate-trained when the humans leave the house, but prefers to sleep on his dog bed near the humans or sometimes on their bed. He gets along with the 2 cats that he lives with. Sometimes he must be reminded to leave them alone which he will then do - never aggressive, just playful. He is 1 year old and needs activity, so someone who can take him on adventures, walks, or a doggy sibling would be best.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Roman is the sappy love story-he will sucker you into falling for him! He is in excellent health and loves to be petted. He will need some training on a leash. He is quick to like a person and needs guidance in the environment and will be very calm even at the vet's office. He will need confidence boosting. Does not like to be left alone-will great you with leaning and circling around you when you return. The foster family says, "We joke that Roman's head is 30% lips, 60% ears, and 10% actual head! :) Roman would do great in a home with a sibling dog, and would love a rural/calm/quiet home.
